Ds has a what they call a light lunch at 3.30pm then they usually have a snack of fruit around 4.30pm so I don't bother with anythin other than a drink usually, if he's hungry he'll ask and I'll give him something light like toast/fruit or yoghurt...

DS has tea at nursery at 4pm. Its quite a light tea but they say he eats a lot of it. Then at home he'll have a cup of milk and a snack usually something like a banana, bunch of grapes, raisins, toast, cereal, quavers or biscuits / rice cakes. Some days he wants say biscuits & fruit, some days he won't want anything.

Lo has a fair-sized tea at nursery around 4pm so I have never really bothered giving her a 2nd tea. Sometimes she asks for a snack or biscuit which she has and otherwise a cup full of milk before bed seems to see her through till morning.

My ds goes f/t and like yours, has a snack at 3.30. He's just finished toast and marmite and a fruit dessert and will have 9 oz milk before breakfast. He has a full cooked meal at 11.45 so I'm not too worried about his supper. Sometimes he'll have a toasted tea cake, rice cakes with cheese spread or marmite on them, crackers etc. It depends what he's had at 3.30pm. Today he had bagels, cheese and jelly so he wasn't that hungry! hth

DS's not full time but on 3 days goes he has a snack - usually fruit, cake, toast etc at nursery then he has dinner with us at 5:30 - he always seems to eat it plus think its important to sit down with us in evening.
