These are brill! My dd has tight ringlets and i use it with a detangler spray. The crying stopped the very day i got it. Cost me about £10. And i believe Boots are stocking them now (or will be soon) hth

I would swear by detangling spray with either a wide tooth comb or a bodyshophairbrush, its got a wooden handle and metal pins ifykwim, i thought it would hurt like crazy but best invention ever( i used to get my sis to bring the back from italy til they started stocking them here!!!)

I have 2 lol

Both Denmans, would def recommend them. I have a stiff one (classic) for when ive got my natural curly and a kind of round headed softer one for when my hairs straight. Swear by Denman brushes. I did hairdressing too and we all had them in our £200+ kits lol.

my dd has really thick curly hair,it's ringlets in fact.i use avon detangling spray and the avon detangling comb both which i find brill!! i also spray her hair with water before i comb it so it goes through easier and just use the detangling spray on the ends as i find using it all over dry hair can make the roots look greasy.if you don't know any avon reps you can get it online now.

My dauhter has wavy hair almost down to her mum and we use Paul Mitchell detangle spray and a brush which the hairdresser recommended. IT's a Denman Isinis and cost about £8 but it gets out all the little tangles without pulling and splitting the hair. hth xxxxx

loreal do a childs leave in detangler, and i would use a wide tooth comb instead. but hair dressers may suggest somethng else..
if you dont get any joy with this thread then do another with the title

hi have you tried using a detangle spray? my lo is 3 in dec and has really curly hair which knots all of the time and she too is reluctant to let me brush it. I have used one from avon, tesco's own make kids spray and have just bought a spray fro tesco but its called supersoft by swartzcopf sp? it's in an orange bottle and is tropical smelling. It's the best one i've used, just spray it on damp or dry hair and brush through. The brush will go straight through the hair. Its about £1.79 a bottle ish. hth xx

Can anyone suggest a soft hairbrush for my dd who is nearly three. She has fairly long wavy hair which she will just about tolerate me brushing. It tangles a little but not too bad but she still moans at me that I'm hurting her. any suggestions would be great. Thanks.

My dd has next to no hair (see my picture) but it is really wild. I use avon detangling spray and it helps keep her hair under control.
