DS wee'd his pants for first few days, i just continued until he court on.
I started just putting pants on (no trousers) when at home and I found that boxers were better for him as they were not as fitted as pants.

Hi - we probably did the potty training all wrong but my DS was dry in the house for about 6 months (yes 6!!!) - we kept his bottom half off in the house and had a potty in the kitchen. After a couple of months he copied daddy and stood on his little ikea stool in front of the toilet for wee's, still doing poos in potty. We then started to put pants on him in the house and kept saying "remember you've got pants on if you need a wee" - a few accidents. Then about 3 weeks ago (he's 3 this Saturday), we took him out for the day with no nappy on and he was fine - weeing in bushes etc as we were at a park. After about 2 days of this he was also dry in the night and so is completely potty trained. Just sending this as a reassurance that sometimes it does take a while but not to put pressure on them - think they just end up potty training themselves. Good luck x

I'm potty training my 2.5yr old boy - he's 90% ok if he's not got pants on but as soon as he's got pants or pull ups (anything pressing against his willy) he just wees. He also seems pretty lazy about it, he knows when he's doing it but can't be bothered with the whole taking-your-clothes-off routine. Any advice ladies please? xx
