Glad you got moved ok Jo - have been thinking about you. Kids do adapt to new situations a lot better than we give them credit for, don't they. But I suppose it is our jobs to worry about them. I hope you get your house sorted too.

well done with the big move Jo. Glad to hear you are all settling in well

omg page 20. I really thought I was never going to find us.
Hope everyone is well. Jude-yeah we would love to go. would go now if we could. But with the current prices of houses here we wouldn't get a goopd price for our house.would be lucky to make any money at all!!!So we will see but its still what we want to do.
Lara was 1 on the 19th. Where has the year gone at all.

I'm so angry Elliot (born 18th March 2004) has been called fatty by two litle boys at school! He's a big lad, on the very top of the charts for both height and weight so is a big lad but is by no means fat. I think that he understands this but he has always been a great eater and if this was too cause any eating problems I would be livid! I know one of the boys and today was stood with one of their Mum's waiting for the class to come out, this lad had been stealing another little girls lunch and pushing her around and this mum saw her boy misbehaving and turned and said, he's only doing it cos I'm here. I was so close to saying no actually he's always doing it! We spoke to the teacher and she said that this boy is very energetic and not a bad boy just intimidates the quieter children like Elliot. Then they need to keep a closer eye on things as he also hit Elliot and in the playground when we were waiting to go in he hit a little girl and the mum said nothing! I wonder whether the other little boy had heard this other boy and that's why he called him fatty as I don't think that Elliot looks at all fat so can only think that this is where it has stemed from. I have told Elliot to tell the little boy to go away and stop being horrid as I think that saying nothing means that it will carry on, any ideas?? Sorry it's so long and that I haven't posted in ages!! Hope that you are all ok XX

I can't believe we've got the Christmas signs already

Hi Mary, Its great to hear from you. I'm glad Owen is settled well into school. They really do amaze you and how adaptable to change they can be. I sometimes think it is us who is scared of the change. As with you, I think it is a bit because you know they are the last to head out to school. I'm sorry to hear things aren't good with your OH. I hope you are ok and that everything will work out for you and the kids.
Shabana, good to hear from you - I'm glad J is getting on well too and making new friends. I laughed at T yesterday - apparently he has his birthday party all planned! He is going to an indoor play park in our next big town and has his list of invites all thought out! Although it only includes two girls (other than Caitlin, of course) Toni - who 'thinks he is funny' and Katie who he says is his best friend coz she is funny! Keep charming them son - start as you mean to go on.

The other 2 are both well. C and I are heading to the theatre tomorrow evening to see High School Musical, the actual stage production, not the new movie (which I'm sure we'll have to go and see over half term!) She is sooooo excited. E is a bit miffed, not that he isn't going, but that she is getting out of school at lunch time so we can get away on time to get a bite to eat first!
Good to see you still pop on Tiggs - hope you are doing ok.
Glad you are doing well Olivia - maybe you will reconsider emmigrating now?
Anyone hear from Jackie and Meghan? Haven't heard from Loopy lately either.
There are so many have disappeared from here.

As Mary said, it was great to have all the support when our little ones were all tiny and we were all going through the same experiences and sleep deprivation at the same time! I do think back to all those times on here fondly. X

Hi girls
We are on page 10

All good here. J is enjoying school and had no problems starting. He was really excited about going in and now apart from saying he is tired in the mornings he seems to be enjoying it and has made a little new friend. I was a bit worried about this as he didn't know anyone in his new class as we moved areas whilst he was at pre-school but he doesn't seem phased by this. I think I'm more worried then he is lol.
Jude hope all well with you and glad Thomas has settled well into school.
Olivia, how are you, sorry to hear the restaurant didn't work out but as Jude says at least you can say you gave it a go and have experienced it.
Hi Asma, you stranger. Good to hear from you and your two are well. Are you getting some free time to yourself now that they are at school/nursery. Make the most of the free time you get.

Hiya.
Bump from page 9
20/9/08 15:45
Hi Jude. Great to hear from you. Great to hear the kids are doing well. We are in the library and the kids are occupied by jigsaws and then dolls house. Ah peace!! |The sun is shining today for a change
18/9/08 10:14
Lovely to hear from you Olivia. Sorry to hear the restaurant didn't work out, but at least you can't say you didn't try.
Glad to hear the kids are well too. They are all growing up so quickly - lovely for them, but in a way its sad that the babies are getting big!
All is well with us - T started school on Tuesday and is getting on great (so far) - next week might be different when the novelty has worn off. C is now in P6 and is going on a school trip to Barcelona next April! She is soooooo excited. E is in P4 and is starting to learn the violin (must get my ear muffs looked out
)My work is going well. We moved to the main campus in June and are settling in well. The students all start next week, so it will be a lot busier than we were used to.
Other than that, life goes on as usual - busy, busy, busy.
Hugs to all your little ones X

Hi all. Its great to see you all on here posting. We still don't have internet at home and its rare i get to come in and use the internet cafe in peace. I am just about to collect Ryan from school at 1.30. He is getting on okay
Unfortunately the restaurant didnt work out so we are still in Galway but not working. Which we arent too bothered about. There is money coming in unlike when we had the restaurant and although its a struggle the bills will get paid at some stage. We finally got someone to rent our house in Dublin last week so at least thats one less thing to worry about.
Can't believe lara will be 1 next month. Where has it gone!!!She is still so tiny but perfectly fine and is getting around on her bum like the other two did. I am still BF as she still has no interest in anything else. But at least I can get out of the house without her now!!
Hope everyone is well and all settling in school okay. Take care. Big hugs to you all
17/9/08 09:51
Hi Asma, Its funny how you don't worry so much second time round. By the time you get to number 3, they practically raise themselves
(only joking!)Thomas got on really well at school. Ate all his packed lunch (which in itself is a major achievement because at home I'm lucky if I can get him to eat a banana for lunch!
You will find it odd at the start having some time to yourself once both A&U are at school and nursery. After September T will be in school until 2pm and as I finish work at 1pm it will give me almost an hour to myself each day - it will be lovely. Though I'll probably spend it tidying up the kitchen and making beds.

Hiya Jude,
How have you been and how are the kids?I can't believe how fast time goes by,I look at Aamilah sometimes and think it feels just like yesterday when she was a lil baby.
Aamilah is getting on well- she is doing afternoons this week and from nextweek it is full-time,I hope she will be ok plus going to do her packed lunches and she can be a right fussy eater at times so hoping she will eat and won't get hungry.
Uzayr was fine at Nursey-I have to sit in again with him tomarrow for an hour and if he seems ok then on Wednesday I leave him for 2 hours.I ain't as half as worried as I was with Aamilah. lol
Hope everyone else is well and the lil ones are enjoying School.
15/9/08 10:09
Hope J gets on ok at school this week too Shabana. Let me know X
15/9/08 10:09
Hi Asma, Its great to hear from you. I hope A enjoys school. Thomas starts tomorrow and is really looking forward to it - we'll see how he feels on Wednesday morning!
I miss the chats we all used to have too. Its hard to believe it is probably about 3 or 4 years ago since we were all chatting regularly.
Life goes on, I guess. Anyhow, love to A & U. Hope you are all doing well. X
13/9/08 22:19
ignore my dizzy moment lol I think I have added those who were on my e-mail list correctly lol
13/9/08 22:11
Hello
Oh my it’s been ages since I posted here - I was thinking about when Aamilah was little and thought I would try and find the march mummies thread : )
We are all fine- A will be starting school full-time nextweek & U will be at nursery
I am fine-It feels like it has been ages.
If anyone wants to chat I am on facebook under ASMA NOOR (my avatar pic is of an angel wing : )) lol) or just pm me your full names and I would track you down.
It’s all abit chaotic with personal stuff at the mo - but I am fine and trying to put the kids first and just taking things slowly.
Oh I miss you all - so glad I posted again.
Hope you remember me.

I can't believe Lara is 1 already! Where does time go??? I know what you mean about house prices, Liv - it would be difficult to sell anything at the moment. You have to wonder where it is all going to end.
Christmas is definately going to be a bit leaner for us this year. But tbh I don't think it will do the kids any harm to not get everything they want.
C wants a mobile phone (I had said no, but she is going on a school trip next Easter and I guess it would be a good idea so she can txt us). Anyway, my dad said he would buy her first phone, so why not! She even knows the sort she wants - a pink slider phone, if you please! Her phone will be fancier than mine (get used to it Jude!)
E & T are Starwars mad, so that is all they want - Starwars lego, Starwars, toys, etc.
I am doing Christmas dinner this year again, but this time only for my parents and DH parents (6 adults and my 3 kids) - bliss, after the 2 previous years with near 20!
How's everyone else, I wonder. Thinking about you all X
