    Hi

my little girl has been on Nutriprem for past 9 months, at first we were making the bottles up from fresh but we asked for further advice on this from the hospital and they phoned the manufactures who said it is fine to make them up and leave in fridge for 24 hours. What i normally do is make up my bottles with the cooled water in them and store in the fridge then when i come to feed her i just add the powder then.

    xx

Been told there is the ready made cartons, but the hosptial would not let me have it due to budget restraints... but the nurse did hint that if I ask my GP I might be able to get it, so will ask her!

    Thanks again guys, much appreciated!

I agree with the previous reply.  boiled water is ok in sterilised bottles for 24 hours.

you can store water as long you don't make the feeds up in advance. The water will keep, but the milk won't. x

    Hi all

our girls have now come home (we were allowed to take them today and not wait till tomorrow! hurrah!)

Got a question regarding Nutriprem 2. I have found other websites that address my question, but want to hear from you as well.

Can you use pre-boiled water, stored for 24hrs at room temp, in sterilised bottle, to make up a feed, or do you really have to boil the kettle, wait 30 mins and then mix and feed??!?! I have twins, and am really not sure they will wait 30 mins when they wake up wanting a feed!!

    Thanks,

    Em
