rhys has a rare syndrome to so we was told hearing loss was a sytom of it but its just the shock of actually being told it if u no what i mean im glad they have caught it early on and hopefully the earing aids will also help his speech cause he dosnt talk at all and is 2 next mnth so fingers crossed

same here, my dd failed about 4/5 hearing tests but it turned out it was because of fluid in her ears which cleared on its own x

Awwww.I know how sad you must be feeling.My D.D was diagnosed after failing loads of tests as being severely-profoundly deaf in both ears.She was wearing (well sort of)wearing lol x2 hearing aids for almost 2 years.Guess what after months and months of us saying that she could hear......................She isnt deaf at all!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The "professionals" do get it wrong more often than not.

oh babe. try not to worry my neice, whos nearly 5yr old now. was deaf too, she was due to get grommets in but due to my sister moving house a few times in a short space of time she never got them in and at her next hearing test she passed with flying colours... we dont no to this day how mind... anyways babe keep you chin up theres worse things in the world. XxXxX

had ent appoitment yesterday as rhys had failed previous 3 tests well wasnt good news he is partiely deaf in both ears and also has glue ear in both so we r seeing a speacialist in 2-3mnths to talk about hearing aids and grommets.
