My lo was 6 weeks prem and when she had her first lot of jabs the nurse told me to give her calpol.  I did, but at a slightly reduced amount from what it states on the calpol box.  Never had any problems using it, and it does say from 2+ months.  Your nurse should be able to tell you how much to use, and maybe even prescribe something for your lo.

My nurse has a book for calculating med amounts for prems,  it works out that they can have a max of 1.5mls every 4 hrs but no more than 4 lots in 24hrs till the corrected age of 3 months then they go onto the normal 2.5mls

    Hi ladies

Does anyone have any idea at what stage we can give our los calpol? My girls had their immunisations on Friday as they are over 8 weeks now, but I don't think I can give them Calpol as they're still minus 1 and a half weeks corrected.. any ideas?? They're both tetchy and have bad diahorrea... I just want them to feel better!!
