thanxs gals uve made me feel loads better hv has got me panicking saying he should weigh more and to fed him more but i cant make him eat he is still taking 3 meals and 3 bottles. hes a smiley happy boy just cant help worrying x

Hi my DD was 5lb 8oz at birth she went down to 5lb 2oz, she is now 40 weeks and weighs 14lb12oz, she is still really dinky and is on the 2nd centile, she seems happy enough though and her clothes last for ages lol

charlotte was 4lb 8oz and at 30 wks was 14lb 9oz. she is still tiny and is 3 in august and only weighs about 26lb

hey dd1 was born at 32weeks weighin 4lb 8 at 31weeks old she weighed 16lb 9. shes now 26months old and huge! she was last weighed a month b4 her 2nd birthday and she was 28lb 14. shes in 3-4yr clothing and a size 7 shoe.

dd2 was born at 26weeks weighing 930g (2lb half oz) she is 18months old now and weighs 18lb 16 shes not oput of 3-6month clothing yet. i think every child is different. some premmies catch up rely fast like my dd1 and other take there time as long as there happy and not refusing to eat etc i wouldnt worry.

Rhianna was 4lb 7pz at birth and weighs  14lb now at 21 weeks and is on the 75th centile x

My lo was born at 32 weeks and was 4lb at birth he is now nearly 9 months and is 24lb !!!!!!!!! he is very long though off the scale!!! little cheeky monkey and getting cheekier!

Kaiya was born at 32 weeks and weighed 3lb 12oz, she was weighed last week at 30 weeks and she was 13lb 12oz. She's on the 9th centile and always have been.

Hey hunny as you know Lili weighed 4lb 7 at birth, she is 29 weeks and only weighs 12lb 10, but I think she`s just meant to be little lol. She`s cheap to buy clothes for as they last her so long!! She was 75th centile at birth and is now somewhere between 2nd and 9th.

Hi my daughter was born at 30+5 and weighed 3lbs 10ozs. She is 5 weeks old now and weighs 5lbs 3ozs she is on the 50th centile. The hv was  surprised as prem babies are normally below that . Abbie did drop to 2lbs 12ozs after birth but gained very quickly.

hi there my lo was 4lb 15 born and she is now almost 2, she had a lot of problems with eatting so her weight gain was quiet slow but constant at 33wks she weighed 13.11and a half so i would say if your lo is anything like mine then he's well on his way. we found that we had weeks where she's put no weight on and others she's put on a few oz's never very much at a time then when she hit a year old the weight just piled on she is now a wopping 27 pounds and doesn't look like a small baby at all. her little sister is our average size baby but very long and she seems to put a pound on a week and is already half dd1's weight at only 15wks lol but as long as he isn't teething, unwell then i'm sure he will soon put more weight on and amaze you like my little raskal did. hth

what did they weigh at 30 weeks my son is 13lb13oz and has dropped to centiles hes now only on the 9th centile. is this normal just wondered what other people babies weighed xxx
