My friends lo has some boots and they are really cool, they just look like timberlands! hot in summer though!
my daughter was born at 27 weeks, she is now 18months old. she has had physio for a while now and she is just beginning to stand for herslef. her feet do the same and the physio has said about getting her some supportive shoes. the physio told us not to worry about the position of her feet all children (even full term) go through this stage. she said they need the extra grip to help them stand. we were told if she is still standing with her feet turned in next year then they will look into it more. physio has advised us after our daughter has been standing then just to rotate her feet to relax the ankle and foot. i normally just do 'this little piggy' with her????? hope this has made you feel a little better???? i was worried about it untill my friend emailed me to tell me her son (who was full term) was doing it.

My 3 year DD has something called mettatarsus adductus, which is where the front part of the foot turns in, her feet look banana shaped. When she first started walking she would trip over her own feet as she in-toed so badly. She has been being seen at podiatry since she was 2. We used to do ballet excercises (any one with little girls will probably know `good toes, naughty toes` lol) and games where she has to walk like a penguin, turning her feet out wards.
She was given supports for her shoes, these can be put in any shoes with a good supporting back. She can`t wear anything that doesn`t fully support her heel.
Things have started to improve, but she may end up being fitted with corrective shoes or being put in casts for 6 weeks, or if it is really persistant then surgery would be a last resort.
She is a happy little girl who will tell you she has special feet!!
These things bother the parents much more than the child x
