Your lo is doing fine all babies are different.  My lo was born at 31wks + weighed at 4lbs 12ozs and lost about 12 ozs in his first couple of wks of birth but soon put it back on again.  At 6mths 4mths corrected he weighed about 15lbs.  He is now nearly 1 yr and weighs 23lbs, so don't worry.

hey having had 2 premmies myself i would say dont worry. as long as lo is gaining seriously dont worry! i had dd1 at 32weeks she was 4lb 8 at birth and i am not kidding u she she gained like a monster:

3weeks old (35wks gest) 5lb 2, week after she was 5lb 9, wk after 6lb 9 >7lb 3>7lb 12>8lb6 ... at 6months old she was upto 18lb14..

where as dd2 born at 26weeks weighin 930g gained much much slower:

11weeks old (37wks gest) 5lb 4, wk after 5lb 6, wk after 5lb 11 > 6lb 6 >2wks later 6lb 14...  at 6 months old she weighed 9lb 5. shes 19months old now and still only weighs about 19/20lb..

every child is different, as long as they gain it doesnt matter.

Hi that seems great.. my lo was born 24th Jan (8weeks early) weighing  2lb 13oz.. she's now 6 1/2 months and weighs 12lb 4oz

Hi my little girl maggie is 15 1/2 mths ( 12 1/2 mths corrected ) and is almost 13 1/2 lbs so compared to maggie your lo is doing fab at 6 months maggie was only 7 1/2lb

Sounds like she is doing great.. My ds is 6 mths on Sunday (was 14wks early) and is 9lb 10oz.

Kaiya is 9 months ( 7 corrected ) and 2 weeks ago weighed 14lb 7oz at 6 months ( 4 corrected ) she weighed 12lb 13oz so your lo is a good weight. As long as they gain weight and don't drop below the line they follow i was told not to worry.

millie is 6 months born 29 jan and is 14 pounds 1 xx

DD was 12lb10oz at that age. Over the last 6 weeks or so she has had a massive growth spurt. She's 8.5 months (7 corrected) and weighed 17lb10 last week. She seems perfectly normal to me, and I would say 13lb2 is a perfectly normal weight too. Remember also, that weight gain slows down - if they gained at the rate they do as new borns they'd be enormous!

My lo is 8 months, 6 corrected and weighs 13lb 14.

As I was told, they don`t make diamonds as big as boulders !

my dd is 6 months on Saturday, 4 and a half months corrected and weighed13pounds 2 last week. This seems so small, has anyone got a little one who weighs about the same? She takes her food well and have been weaning for a month but seems 2 put on weight quite slowly
