hv came today and im truely amazed......isabelle weighs 6lbs 6!!! cant belive she was only 3lbs 15 4 weeks ago!!!!

hi jane lucan spent 14 weeks in scbu he was 9 weeks early born 9.10.07 weighed 3lbs 13 1/2 oz . lucan spent 14 weeks in scbu because he ad alot of promblems with his breathing bein ventilated a few times due to couple of hrs after birth and to chest infections . n operations lucan had an 2 operations one becase he was was poohing out of his belly button back in october and second because he cant take oral feeds he goes blue more a less straight away he as the mi-key gastrotomoy tube and fundopliction for severe reflux on x mas eve in sorry spelling not that good . please rember every baby is different

how long was everyone else's little ones in scbu for?
my little princess was born 8/8/08 weighin 3lbs 15 and weighed today 9days on she is 4lbs 8

To be honest I had a lift for about a week after having Georgia but then got in my car and drove up there as didn't want to be waiting around for people giving me lifts all the time so drove myself. If its only a short journey, i'd drive hun.
I got tiny baby grows out of Tesco's and Next, they were pretty and pink. how much does lo weigh? xxx

i think im gonna be beter going home soon,my stich came out today so i no im taking up a bed and feel so guily
plus anyway im gettin bit fed up with looking like a tramp!!! lol
it prob wouldnt be any different to being here anyway.i can come up in morning then stay all day if i like,gotta be strong
any one no anywhere good to buy prem sleepsuits etc?all my family and friends seem to be able to find is boring old white!!!! my princess needs pink!!!!

when i left the hospital i felt soooooooooooooo bad i had just had 3 babies but was going home with none of them but when i left the hospital with just the 2 that was so heartbreaking it makes me well up just to think of it my one lil baby all alone i then couldnt take the other 2 with me to see him it was so hard then i had to accept the fact my lil trio might never be together in the same room again when he was transfered to london i sat and watched the ambulance pull away with just the girls in my arms and he was going miles away from me when he got to london we stayed in the ronald mc donald house that is sponcered by mc donalds with the girls it was the worst 6 months of my life pluss he has had 2 more open heart surgerys and endless stays in hospital where my lil trio is split up again but you do get through it hun keep strong xxxxxxxxxxxxx

congrats, i dont often post, my lo is now 15 weeks and also born at 32 wks. It may seem like such a long time that you are in hospital with your lo but honestly once you get home all that goes away and you will look back in a few months time and think yeah it was hard but look how far we have come! you have got your lo for the rest of your life, treasure everyday!

congrats hon , hi my twins were born at 32 weeks and spent 4 weeks in scbu i went homw after4 days i also had a em section but the day after i got home i got strait i my car and drove stait back to hosp as my hubby was at work. xx

I was quite lucky as I have family who live near the hospital, also one of DH`s friends who lives near us had to pick up his kids who live near the hospital so I wangled a few lifts. After about 10 days I was doing an hour bus journey to get there. It was a little sore (especially going over speed humps!) but as long as I kept taking regular painkillers it wasn`t too bad.
People always ask if there is anything they can do to help, make sure you tell them!!

thank u , u girls are makin me feel so much better
im still in hospital and have my c section stich out tommorrow and think they will prob want to send me home,im dreading them saying that as its gonna break my heart leavin her.dont no how ill get up here every day,i do drive but when are you allowed to after a c section?cant afford cabs everyday till im well enough to catch the bus or have 40mins walk up here.not walked in years but ill do it if i have to!
what did u girls do bout that bit?xxxx

hi my triplets were born at 31 weeks the girls were in just over a month and came home xmas day! my little boy only has half a heart and was in intensive care in london hospital for 5 months then hdu for 2 weeks then scbu for 3 weeks so just over 6 months all together good luck hun xxxx
