Hey Jen, its horrible isnt it, the constant worrying? I dont even think greg really understands, because i dont tell him every single little niggle, but things like braxton hicks are just awful, because thats what i thought i was having when i was in labour before!
You had such good care in Nottingham aswell didnt you, whereas here in retford/bassetlaw I feel like i've been abandoned! I havent even met my proper consultant yet and I only saw one of her colleagues for the first time when i was 21 weeks, and i'm not having a cervical scan till 25+5 when they know cameron was born at 25+4. It just doesnt make sense to me at all!
Anyway, have you had any luck with the music for your ball yet? I was talking to my colleague about it the other day and she used to work in our local theatre, apparently there are always loads of musicians/bands (of good quality aswell) that are looking for the publicity, and would jump at the chance of something like this. So it might be worth popping in your local theatre and asking about there? Your right about the prizes up for auction, theyre really fab, especially the signed footie shirts etc, people can be really generous-and well done to you for asking in all the right places too!!
I have to go now, got work soon, but i'm finishing in 4 weeks woohoo! So, I'll speak to you soon, love to you all xx

Hi Kerry! I totally understand. I was a nervous wreck too when pregnant with Annie! Nothin anybody does or says will change it but to to enjoy your pregnancy as much as you can. I hope you're ok. You know where I am if you need me. It can help to talk to someone who does really understand as you then realise that what you are feeling is quite nomral and you stop worrying about being crazy which relieves half of the worry!
Than you for your kind comments about the ball. It's all go! I'm very busy. We've been on the radio and are going in the evening post!! We've got loads of amazing auciton and raffle prizes too. It's so nice to know that there are some very kind and generous people out there as sometimes we are made to feel like our country is so bad!
Take care of yourself and please get in touch if you want to x

Hi Jen, hows it going? Unfortunately me and Greg wont be able to go to your charity ball, we are not making any long term plans at the mo because I am just a nervous wreck right now! I have even packed my hospital bag and done loads of xmas shopping just in case, I dont want to tempt fate, but I do want to be prepared!! So anyway, I clicked on the link in your post, the website is really good, and i read your story, its so sweet, and so nice to see you have always had such faith in your consultant. You'll have to let me know how it all goes ok? take care and love to your family xxx

Hi! Haven't been on the prem board much this time around. Think I've been trying to busy myself with other things to take my mind off going through the whole preemie thing again! Anyway as mum of two prems trying to keep my mind busy, I am organisng a charity ball for Nottingham's neonatal units. We have lots of great itmes up for auction and raffle including, loads of celeb signed stuff, football shirts, spa days, meal vouchers, family days out etc. It's on the 19th September and our website is www.neonatal-charityball.co.uk. It's all going really well thank goodness and tickets are selling well too. If you are interested please take a look and feel free to get in touch. We are grateful for any support we recieve. Jenny x

Hello again! We have music for the ball! They guy that sang for us at our wedding has very kindly donated his services for free and he already has a gig booked that night so has got to fly off after singing for us! Some people are just so kind and generous, it's lovely. And yes we are selling raffle tickets to the outside public. I'm off on hols for 2 weeks tomorrow so will be in touch when I get back.
I really hope you're feeling ok. I know exactly what you are going through. Have you thought about transferring your care to the city hospital? I know it's a bit of a way for you but the stress of that may be far less than the stress your under with your current hospital. They were absolutely fantastic with me. If you ever need to chat, you know just where I am. Don't worry about how you are feeling, it is perfectly understandable. I really do feel for you cos I know. Look after yourself and make sure you get time for yourself. Don't be afraid to tell anyone how you are feeling as you are not being silly in anyway.
Got to go to bed now. Early start! I always think about you and wonder how you're getting on. If in a couple of weeks you feel like coming to the ball let me know. Lots of staff from the unit are going so if anything happens you'll have plenty of expertise to hand!!
Take care x
