Woah there is a lot of angry people on this site!!

Emma I asked my sister about early pregnancy and an underactive thyroid. She said that ur gp was a bit unfair and unsupportive. She said that it does increase your chances of mc BUT that as long as your bloods are checked and the levels monitored then you should be fine. A friend of hers from uni wasn't diagnosed until she was pg and has just had her 2nd baby. Hope you are well.

I have decided that I am going back to WW next week. Even dh is going to do it but he is not going to class. He has been having 3 course dinners every night for the last 6 weeks and his trousers are a bit tight!!-d

Hey how is everyone. Nothing much to report here. On 2ww now although just want to get it over with so we can get back to ttc properly.

Sarah you are more likely to get pregnant now that you have your appointment as you will be more relaxed about it. Its amazing the amount of people who start down that road and end up pregnant without help.

Rachel how was cornwall. Was our Nan excited?

Emma are you ok? Are you having any more symptoms?

Oh no kim thats really sad!!! i really hope that he turns up some where, my george disappeared for 3 whole days once and came back, i think he was punishing us because we had been on honey moon!!

Hope it went well with your nan rach, you would ve driven past taunton on your way, i hope you waved at me!!

cd7 for me today, been on the ac since friday so fingers crossed i ll ov at some point!!!

No sign of him yet. I think he might have drowned as there is no sign of him and there is a burn at the back of us which has burst its banks and is flowing really fast. We think he might have fallen in and if he did there would be no hope of him getting out. Just have to wait and see if he turns up. this was only his second time out as he had just been vaccinated the week before.

|Anyway how is everyone else doing? How did it go in Cornwall?

Hi Kim,

I just wanted to find out if your kitten had retuned yet? Was he already used to going outside? My cat sometimes goes into other peoples houses and sheds and gets stuck........

Good luck finding him xxx

Anyway I'm off to Cornwall today to tell my Nan I'm pregnant..........

Oh no kim!!! I really hope you find him, have you had him chipped yet? My cats got under the fence when they were kittens and it scared the crap out of me!!!

Oh no! Any news yet Kim? I hope it turns up safely. Kittens are terrible for exploring and getting themselves hidden away in the tiniest of places. (((((hugs)))))))

Feeling like crap right now. My 13 week old kitten is lost. Just spent the last hour out looking for him. I am now printing leaflets in the hope that some one has seen him. Boo hoo. John doesn't understand that we might not get him back. Hopefully wewill get him though. Hope you are all well.

wow kim!! Gettin a bit firey there!! i like it!!! lol, glad huby is back for good soon, that ll be easier for ttc!!!!

I woould def do some shouting Em, turn on the water works, that might help!!!

im not too bad at the mo, feeling quite relaxed as i have the count down to my appointment but hopefully one more chance to ovuate inbetween, im gonna have a quiet word with my ovaries to ask them about their performance lately, they need to put more effort in!!!

i am injured!! i was straightening my hair and they slipped through my hand and i grabbed them on the hot plate!! i have melted 2 finger prints and i have one huge blister on my finger tip!!! its not v easy to type!!! why do they need to get so bloody hot???

Anyway, hope every one is good!!!

Emma you need to shout louder. The one thing that I have learned in the last 10 years working for the NHS is that the louder you demand something the more likely you are to get it. Its difficult but really fight - tell the midwife you are worried because the doctor has been a bit negative and you want a scan at ur early pregnancy unit for reassurance that everything is ok. Get as emotional as you can and tell them u are really worried. If you want it get it and don't take no for an answer. Sorry this sounds like a rant and a bit of a lecture but GET ON THAT PHONE

Hi ladies,

Hope you are all ok.

Had my docs appointment today. Was really hoping that she would book me in for my early scan but instead she has referred me to the consultant who will take over my care throughout the pregnancy. I will have to wait about two weeks to hear from him. She did tell me to register with the midwife though so I have my booking in appointment on thursday 21st. She has also upped my meds again - I will be rattling soon!

glad your hubby is going to be around more kim. Keeping everything crossed for you and sarah.

Well DH is now away for his last week in Derby and he will be back on Friday for good - I can't wait. John is staying at my sisters tonight as my childminder is on holiday so the house is really quiet.

glad you re ok rach, what a palava that all was!!!

Anyway, i got my wish and af arrived yesterday, she brought a baseball bat with her by the way im feeling, ow!!! i dont understand why my afs have started taking a week to arrive, its so bloody annoying, i dont know weather im coming or going, weather or not i need to wear a sp or not but you can guarentee the day i dont she ll decided thats the day!!! I have also worked out that as af arrived yesterday then that means when i did that pg test coz i had a faint line on an ov test and coz i had loads of cm that i was prob oving!! typical then that dh was away that week end!!! i have decided that i am going to listen to my body this month, i have my hosp appointment to look forward to so im not going to stress about any thing i am gonna use my cb monitor to see if it can pick any thing up this month but i will also concentrate on other signs, like cm and i ll just take it easy and try and remember that if it happens this month then great if not then a nice doc is gonna fix me!!!!

i have also signed up for a gym again, its right next to my work so i was thinking i will go straight from work 3 nights a week, they have a swimming pool so i think i might do that mostly as i am more likely to actually do that than to go in the gym!!! but as its a corporate member ship through work its loads cheaper and the term runs till october 31st so if i dont use it in sept and oct i ll give it up!!!

anyway, im ment to be doing house work so had better do that really!!!!

Hope Em is good!!!!

Hi everyone!!

Kim, thank you for your thread it made me feel a lot better (and also cry but that seems to happen a lot) and is much appreciated . All the confusion came from someone not reading my post and saying that I was sticking up for someone who said that women ttc were crazy, which is clearly nonsense. I had a long hard journey to get my bean, and it was all worth it!!

Anyway, according to the dates given to me at my scan I'm 10 weeks tomorrow I'm heading down to Cornwall on Saturday to tell my Nan I'm pregnant. Shes a bit highly strung and I don't want to tell her over the phone..............

How has everyones weekends been?

Rachel are you ok. You were getting quite a hard time yesterday for what you said about all the trouble on here yesterday. Hopefully it will all settle down and things will get back to normal. Hope you are keeping well and are taking it easy.

I dont know what happened either, by the sounds of it it was a post called u is all crazy which must have got taken off coz i cant find it!! just as well coz id prob loose my rag!!!!
