My friend had a wee girl last night.  her name is Kara and she weighed in at 7lbs 1oz.  Very excited and a bit jealous - wishing it was me.

Oh Rachel that made me smile!

Buzz was possibly sighted on Wednesday night but been out and again no sign of him - not even sure if it was him in the first place.  Have also just got another cat who is a ginger tom so I may well end up with 3 cats.

Ok I am starting to worry about myself - I have just tried to get a cork out of a screw top bottle of wine

    Have a good weekend.

    Hi guys!!

Sorry I haven't been on, I've been having a few issues with my internet and have been pretty much exhausted since the drive to and from Cornwall

Anyway after 11 hours of sleep last night I'm back!! My nan was very excited (as I thought she would be) and even told my dh 'well done' and then had a swig of sherry out of the bottle!!

Em - You will manage to survive without the afternoon nap but is tough! Sorry to hear you're feeling sick, I always have a pack of gigner nut biscuits in my bag and have one when I start to feel sick and it almost always makes me feel better.

Kim - I've had my fingers crossed for you finding your kitten, hope he arrives back soon!!

Sarah - Your appointments creeping up isn't it!!! Hope you're still giving it your all till then

    xxxxxxx

OOhh I remember the sickness.  its one of the few thing I do remember very well.  I had to tell my work when I was 5 weeks partly due to the shade of grey I was and the fact I kept disappearing when it was really busy.  I don't think the patients would have appreciated me being sick on them! I am a bit worried that it goes the same way again. Ah well it will be worth it in the long run.

Our friends phoned today and she is 2 cms dilated-woohoo the baby is on its way!!!!!  I am relly excited and a wee bit jealous!  Although the situation was in reverse with the boys.

Also on a plus side my kitten appears to have been spotted last night.  Been out today and going out in half an hour again.  I had given up hope but we will need to wait and see if we get him.

    thanks for the sicky face!

I start back a week on monday then the kids start on wednesday but i will be in all next week as i need to get the classroom ready and get stuff sorted for my team (i run the geog department).  On top of all that, i have moved classroom too so i need to unpack everything.  I'm not sure i can keep it quiet at work.  I will def not tell the kids but will have to see how long i can get away with it with the staff.  At least dh works in the same school so i can get him to cover me if I need to run to the loo or something!

dh was really upset at how crap i am feeling so did something really sweet.  Yesterday, i was laid on the sofa feeling sorry for myself and watching bridget jones (the 2nd one) when the door went and it was a parcel for me!  It was a set of baby monitors with a tv on it!  He he!  Is so cool, I have been playing with it.  Have put it firmly away in the wardrobe now though.

    i'm here!

i'm sorry, i have been feeling so sick and crap so haven't spent much time on here and didn't want to go on about how i was feeling s***ty cus then it would seem like i am ungrateful at being pregnant but i'm not.

i had my booking in appointment with the midwife today and got loads of stuff to read and my bounty pack thing.  inside i had vouchers for all sorts so went to asda and got a huggies newborn nappy kit (nappies, wipes and socks!) using my voucher so it was absolutely free and then picked up my mum to be bounty pack and my emma's diary pack.  was like christmas!

i am a bit worried about how i am going to manage when i go back to work as i cannot seem to stay awake for a whole day anymore.  i have to nap from about 2pm.

i bullied my midwife in taking blood to check my thyroid and will see the doc next week.  she would not back down on the early scan though.

i am going to brave the smells of the kitchen now to try and cook some dinner.

i hope everyone is ok.  looks like the first may babies are being announced - come on we need to keep up the tradition - who is it gonna be???????

    yo ladies!!

Not a lot to report, was pi**ed off this morn coz my CB test strip didnt work!! i did it and looked at it but the blue dye wasnt seeping up like normal but i stuck it in the machine anyway and had a shower, when i got out the machine still said 2 bars but the strip didnt have any blue lines at all on it so i dont think it worked!! Weird eh! oh well, its cd11 so there is NO chance of my oving yet anyway!! trying to make the most of my relaxed mood at the mo and not come on here too much, im woried we ll slip into oblivion though if i dont come on here!!!! lol

Hope every one is good, is any one having a summer? Im wondering if maybe there is a big cloud stuck over the south West!!!

Woah there is a lot of angry people on this site!!

Emma I asked my sister about early pregnancy and an underactive thyroid.  She said that ur gp was a bit unfair and unsupportive.  She said that it does increase your chances of mc BUT that as long as your bloods are checked and the levels monitored then you should be fine. A friend of hers from uni wasn't diagnosed until she was pg and has just had her 2nd baby. Hope you are well.

I have decided that I am going back to WW next week.  Even dh is going to do it but he is  not going to class.  He has been having 3 course dinners every night for the last 6 weeks and his trousers are a bit tight!!-d

Hey how is everyone.  Nothing much to report here. On 2ww now although just want to get it over with so we can get back to ttc properly.

Sarah you are more likely to get pregnant now that you have your appointment as you will be more relaxed about it. Its amazing the amount of people who start down that road and end up pregnant without help.

Rachel how was cornwall.  Was our Nan excited?

Emma are you ok? Are you having any more symptoms?

    Speak soom
