    hi all, it was horrible!!!

having the catheter put in hurt loads the dye bit didnt hurt too much but the worst bit was about an hour after i got home, it was soooo painful, from my hips to my chest all round was agony, i couldnt stand up straight and i called dh and he came home coz i was scared!! How ar you supposed to know much pain i normal?? it eased off when my friend came over, i think taking my mind off it helped and my friend had some news... she is pregnant!! she was so worried about telling me, i am over the moon for her, she has wanted one for ages but they ve only been ttc recently, she says that my body was waiting for her to go first so now it ll happen for me!!! im not sure about ttc this month, its cd11 today and im sure that all this stuff floating round in me isnt going to help things!

Oh and there is nothing wrong with my tubes!!! he said it all flowed through as it should which is great, there was another couple in having the same thing and i heard him telling them that it didnt flow properly through one side so she has to have a laperoscopy so they can investigate why so i consider my self lucky

hope you re all ok xxx

    hey everybody

Well I fell asleep at work today.  I was working on my own in one of the health centres and was footering about on the pc.  I put my head down for a minute and the next thing 35 minutes have passed!!  This does not bode well for the next few months.

Emma I am sorry to hear that you are in pain.  There is nothing worse especially when there is probably very little you can take to ease it.  Did the doctor suggest anything?  If not speak to the midwife - you might be able to get reffered for physio I don't know if that would help but its worth a try.

Sarah how are you feeling? Is it this Tuesday you go for the HSG? What kind of dog do you have.  I would like a dog but dh has told me that I would need to sleep in the shed with it - so maybe not.

Rachel I can't believe that you are at the half way mark.  Its all gone so quickly.  The 20 week scan is even better because you get to see more. Its even more emotional.

well I think I have rabbited on enough hope everyone is ok

Hi all.  I am feeling well sorry for myself today.  I have been having problems with my leg.  It has been going numb and really hurts and stuff.  I saw the doctor today who diagnosed me with meralgia parasthetica and said that it will only get worse as the pregnancy continues and that he doubts that I will be able to work as long as I had planned.  He also said that as I am pregnant, I can't have any steroid injections which is what would normally happen.  I am becomming a cripple.  It hurts really bad.

    Hi everyone,

Glad to hear everyone is well! 20 week scan on Friday, and scans always make me worry so I've lost plenty of sleep and had countless nightmares....... I took some bump pics and forgot to upload them, so I'll try and do it this evening.

Sarah - Glad you liked your card! I'm feeling very positive about your HSG, good luck.........

Em - Isn't it an amazing feeling!! I have felt my little man move since I was 15 weeks, and I know now that I was feeling him so you probably are right!!

Kim - Feeling tired already? I'm so glad to be past that stage, it must be tough with a child already.

Hee hee Emma you will have to poke the baby when its bigger - its the only way to move their foot from under your ribs which is very uncomfortable.  It pobably as the baby cos you were stretched out so you would feel more.

Goodness me!  The hormones are flying round here!!!  I don't know - all this talk about gorgeous health professionals.  You'd think all we ever do on this thread is talk about sex.....

Hope you are feeling ok Kim and not struggling too much with tiredness.  Do you usually suffer with the dreaded sickness too?

How did your bloods go today sarah?  When do you get your results?

How's it going with you Rach?  Have you got any bump pics yet?

I think I felt baby move on Sunday!  I say think cus I'm not completely sure and apparently it is still very early for first baby.  I lay on the bed with my legs hanging over the edge and my belly was all stretched.  It wasn't very comfortable and I could feel like a harder bit in my belly and then i felt a light poke!  So I poked it back and then it moved again!  Anyway, after poking it for about 5 mins, Glenn told me off and said that I could be traumatising our baby so I felt really guilty and stopped.  ( I have done it loads since, but only when he is not around!  he he!    )

Hello.  Well nothing much happened at drs.  Have a midwife appointment a week on friday. Never got an estimated due date so nothing major to report.

Sarah its better to get the HSG over with then you will stop worrying about it.

Have to go now.  extremely tired and off to bed.

Try not to worry about the HSG.  It is kind of like a smear but a bit more uncomfortable.  I know that there has been a couple of threads on recently about things that go wrong but honestly that is rare. The dye they use has been known to unblock tubes as well so that might be all that is needed.  It will be uncomfortable as the are stretching ur uterus.  Hopefully everything will work out and you will get ur BFP soon.

\Hope everybody else is well and hasve had a good weekend.
