Hi ladies!
Hope you are all well. Sorry about your knee sarah. Make the most of it by getting dh to run around after you, making you endless cups of tea whilst you catch up on all your old dvd's! Don't give up hope yet. It's not over til the fat lady sings - and I am not in the mood for singing right now!
No news to report here. Survived the first week back at work. My energy is returning and I even went out for lunch today! Am looking forward to seeing the midwife on thursday cus I think she might listen to the heartbeat. I really hope so.

i dont think i can stay positive any more, im all positived out!!! im convinced that af is on her way, never mind!!
My friend has only 6 weeks left, i cant believe that! when she told me she was pg i was sure that i would be expecting by the time her bubba got here!

I know of a couple of people who thought that because they didn't have any symptoms they weren't pg. It turned out that the lack of any symptoms was the only sign they had that they were pg. Stay positive - only a week to go!

Thank you for your positive vibes rachel, i dont feel anything at all at the moment tho, its been a week since i got the +opk so i dont know if i should be feeling anything, i dont have af symptoms either tho and usually get them about a week before it arrives so that must be good!! i just have to wait and see!! i hope one day they invent a pg test which works the day after conception so that we can do away with this horrible 2ww!!
my knee is getting better, i keep trying to do to much tho and it twinges again! hvent had any painkillers today, we re going out for a meal later so i want to have a glass of wine!

Sarah how is your knee today? There is nothing worse than having to sit in the house because you have to. At least the weather has been wet.
Rachel and Emma how are you both doing? Any more purchases for your bumps?

hi all, well i am feeling v v sorry for myself
yesterday whilst reaching round the door way to pick up my dogs lead i managed to tear the cartilege in my left knee and fell on the floor screaming!! dh and his mate (who just happen to both be volunteers for the british red cross) both ran in and just looked at me while i st on the floor and cried and refused to get up!! they were both just going you ll be alright in a min!!i wanted to just yell at them to eff off!!!! about half an hour later i still couldnt put any weight on it so we went to casualty and i had it examined and x-rayed and the doc said i have torn my miniscus behind my knee cap so i have crutches and pain killers and have to stay off it for a few days which isnt hard because i cant put any weight on it anyway!!! 
so i get to sit on my arse and do nothing for the next few days which i would normally love but im gonna get so bored!!!
At least its taken my mind of the 2ww, havent thought about it since yesterday!

Rachel - bargain!!!!!! Prams and buggies are soooo expensive.
Well I am now 15 weeks (and 1 day!) and *touches wood* am feeling halfway normal. Yippee!!!!! Wednesday is my day off so I dragged myself out the house and went to the supermarket then I went looking for 'sensible' shoes and trousers that will do up under my bump. Didn't have much luck but got a great pair of black joggies for £3 in asda. Brilliant for bumming around the house. Most of my tops are now a little too small and ride up over my bump which is not a good look. Don't fancy flashing my belly to the kids at work! Anyway, the sun is shining! woo hoo! Might even sit out in the garden for a while and soak up some vitamin D.

Well here I am at home watching cars with a sick child. He is lying on the couch feeling very sorry for himself(typical man!)
CD 35 today and still no sign of af/bfp. Ah well just need to keep waiting. \hope everybody else is well.

Wow £10 thats brilliant!! im not telling dh about that, the one i want is a few hundred!! we ve just been to Ikea and i pointed out the cot wardrobe and drawer set i want for our nursery, it only comes to just over £300 so i dont think thats too bad, i may be jumping the gun but this way we lll at least know what to aim for, there is a thin line between positive thinking and setting your self up for a fall and unfortunately i think i may have crossed that line
BUT listen to this, i dont know if i ve ever said but a couple of times in the past i ve had dreams which have come true, well last night i drempt that i was heavily preg and at a wedding and i was wearing a black dress and i started to go into labour, i remember i tried to ignore it and then it got bad so i told dh, when i woke up i told dh anbout it and then thought nothing else about it, then i was talking to a friend a min ago and i said not long till your wedding now is it? and she said its about 9 months now, its on the 4th July!!! AND she is having a black and white theme! I thought OH MY GOD!!!!! I told dh and he thinks that in the back of my mind i had remembered when her wedding was but he never believes my psychicness!!! i have to calm down, some people ov every month it doesnt mean they get a bfp!!!

Hi Everyone!!
I picked up a pram today for £10!! I bought it on ebay because I thought I may as well, and its in really good condition and is mamas and papas. My dh is so excited, it's dead sweet. I also bought a webcam to show my mum my bump, which I'm very proud of! I've even had people at work asking me when I'm due to finish work.....
Sarah - I have everything crossed for you this month.......

have given up on the cb monitor, its sh1t!!! just used an ebay opk yest, did anther one today and got a second line again but not as strong this time, gonna bd again later (one for luck!!) and then i suppose just sit back and wait!!!!! its gonna be so hard to stay positive but im gonna try, it doesnt feel right because i always think if you re negitive about things then it makes it easier when it doesnt happen!!! i really really really hope this is my month!!!!!

sarah hopefully this will be your month. They said u were about to ov at your scan, +ov on monitor and hopefully your session with the therapist will do the trick.
I have had a quiet day and dh is away out so I have the house to myself for a while once I get John to bed. Can't wait!!

kim i would def recomend seeing some sort of holistic therapist, weather or not you choose to believe in what they claim to be able to do its the fact that you are forced to relax for a bit and think about just you, the woman i saw was such a positive person i still feel like she made a positive impact on me!! When she pressed the point on my thumb and it really hurt she said that is telling her that there is a lot of hurt and emtion inside me which i need to get rid of i nearly cried, it was the fact that some one was tapping into the stuff you keep bottled deep inside when ttc because you just have to get on with life, i didnt really know what to say it was weird!! i have def been feeling v positive and had loads of ewcm yest, we bd last night so fingers crossed!!! i might go and do an ov test in a min just out of interest!!!
hope the bubbas in tummas are doin well!!! do we have proper bumps going on yet??

I can get u a tube of that snow stuff for about £3 from X-scape in Braehead. They sell it as a kids novelty at one of the stands. Its about the size of a test tube. Give me ur address and I will post it down to you.
Well I am cd 30 now and have tested and BFN. Thought I might be cos I had been feeling a bit rough. I now have AF cramps so I am sure she is just round the corner wating to pounce.
I have just booked next years holiday. We are going back to Oban for two weeks. Didn't want to book a holiday abroad as the last time I booked a 2 week holiday abroad I ended up being 37 weeks and unable to fly. Dh not wanting to do that again. At least I can go to Oban if that was to happen again.
I am going to try reflexology. I have fancied trying it for ages. I really believe it works. I just need to get the time to have an hour to myself!
well I have rambled enough so have a nice weeend.
