Bump.
How is everyone today. This is the first day of my holiday weekend today. woohoo. I am babysitting my nephew tomorrow night so it will be a real taste of what it is like to have two!

we re off to london for a few days so i wont be on here again till sunday, no sign of ov yet, would ve been good as we re going away but never mind!! im gonna stop thinkin about it and enjoy being a tourist for a few days!! speak soon!!

Sarah I am glad everything went well today. Hopefully now that the ball is rolling your BFP is just round the corner. The HSG is a diagnostic test but if your tubes are blocked sometimes the dye being injected is enough to unblock them. The other limit to them is that they have to be done within 10 days of the start of AF because of the radiation.
Emma enjoy your time off. Is the weather nice where you are? Its been nice here but as I work in the basement with no windows I don't see any of it.
Rachel hope your dh is felling better now and that he is back home with you.

Am really pleased that you have got the ball rolling and that loads of things are happening. Don't like the sound of the post coital test though! The first thing I do after sex is get it all out again!!! I hate it when it dribbles out on its own about an hour later and you are out in town or something! sorry......
Maybe your ovulation thingy jumped down the toilet for a good reason after all!
Well - I don't think it will be long now. I reckon bfp's all round by xmas.....

Here i am!!!!
right well we ve been to see the specialist, she was sooooo lovely, i think i
her!!!!we were with her for an hour and she asked us loads of questions and all that and filled in a folder thingy with my height and weight etc and, well to cut a long story short i will be having about 5 differnt types of blood tests (only 2 lots of blood thank god!!) and a post coital test next week (we have to bd and then im not allowed to wash until my appointment!! yikes!!) she said its to check if the spermies can swim in my mucus!! lovely!!!!
and then lastly im having one of those lap & dye thingies which she said they have a lot of trouble with because they dont have enough people to do the tests so it may take a few months before i get it done!!! dont know if you already know what it is but its some thing to do with putting dye in my fallopian tubes and then an xray to see if they re ok, but you cant have that done till they have done the test to make sure i ve never had clymidia!!!
So there we go, i ve got the ball rolling, she also asked me to please please stop using the CB fertility monitor, she hates all of these ov tests, she said that as long as you bd between 2-3 times a week and there is nothing wong with either of you it should happen!!! i will keep using it till the end of this cycle tho as i have the sticks now!!!
oh and dh has to jiz in a pot!! his words not mine, he has to do that soon, bless him he isnt woried about doing that at all, i was half expecting him to say im not effing doing that!!!

Hello em!! glad you re feeling better, i am getting you and rach mixed up now that you both have scan pics as your profile piccies!! you wanna lay off the haribo or you might end up giving birth to a jelly baby!!!! im soooooo funny!!!
Anyway for some reason i am bricking it about tomorrow, silly i know becuse its just to see the specialists nurse so its just a chat really, although apparently i will be having a scan of my pelvic area, i recon she is gonna say, theres your problem, no ovaries!!!
i ll come straight on here tomorrow after i ve seen her/him and let you all know how its gone, in the mean time im enjoying a big glass of wine to calm my nerves, watching the sex education show and its about child birth!!! scarey stuff!!!!

Rachel - hope your dh is feeling better and you have him back home again.
Well - I spent the late part of last week being uber sick. Glenn said I was like the old lady in the little Britain sketch. Nice! Feeling loads better today and went back to work full of optimism. In my register was a note from a mum saying that her son was off with slapped cheek. Well - being the kind of person who has read every single pregnancy related book at least 3 times (!) I knew this was not good so got an emergency docs appointment. Have had bloods taken to check whether I am immune or not and I have been signed off work for 10 days until the results are through. Doc said the chances are that I have already had it and I am immune but I really don't want to take any chances. So now, I am feeling less sick and I STILL get time off work!!!! Yippee!!!
God - I am really fat. Everyone keeps saying what a big baby bump I have but I think it is just fat. I'm not sure. I do look pregnant but surely it is way too early? It must be all those haribo I have been eating!
Anyway....wwwwaaaaaayyyyy past my 8pm bed time so I had better go.

Rachel i hope that your dh is feeling better. Make sure you look after yourself too.
Sarah there has been a few threads on here which say that ov monitors are not always that acurate cos your hormone surge doesn't last that long and you might miss it. Is it possible that you have just missed it? Hopefully your clinic appointment will shed some light.
Emma I hope you are feeling better soon. Morning sickness is such an understatment. I was a stone lighter after I has John cos I was so sick at the beginning.
John is 3 And a half. he is the best thing even when he is at his worst! I know I am blessed to have one so thats why I am not overly concerned if I didn't manage to have another one although he informs me that he wants a wee brother and a wee sister because he can't decide which he would rather have!

Oh dear rach, you make sure you take care of your self, hope dh is ok but you need to make sure you and bubs get lots of rest!!!
well still no ov yet, no ewcm, nothing!!!! i was peed off this morning, just feels like after the 28 day cycle last month i was hoping that it would happen again this month and ttc is so much easier with a regular cycle and with shorter cycles you know sooner weather you re pg or not!!! Oh well i am trying hard to stay positive, we ve got the week off so fingers crossed i ov at some point coz we ll have plenty of bd time!!!
im sure em is fine, she was still suffering with the sickness last i heard so she has prob still got her head down the loo!!!

Hi everyone!!
I'm sooooo tired
My dh had to go to hospital last night with an asthma attack and so I had to stay up until 1 this morning before they moved him to a ward and got him settled, then get up early this morning to take him clean clothes and a book etc. Its really lonely without him, we're one of those annoying, always together couples so I really miss him Em - Where are you? Bit worried not to hear from you for a while?
Sarah - I've got my fingers crossed for your appointment!! Remember I only got my bfp after help xx Hope your mouth is feeling better.
Kim - Is your dh back now? How old is John, I can't remember asking!
Anyway, back to the hospital..........

i am getting a bad feeling that my cycle is gonna go crazy again this month, its cd14 and no sign of ov, only a tiny bit of ewcm so far and not many twinges and still only 2 bars on my monitor, oh well i ve got my appointment in a few days, horay!!!
im off to enjoy the sunshine!!

i am totaly knackered today and I am on call tonight altough i am unlikely to be called.
I am having a quiet weekend though. My mum is going to Ireland on Sunday so that means a trip to the airport for John so he will be as high as a kite.
I am cd 16 today altough that doesn't mean anything as my cycles seem to be a bit crazy at the moment.
I also had a bunny boiler incident on the way home from work tonight. I was planning how to tell my family i was pg at Christmas cos I would be about 3 months by then!! It wouldn't happen like that anyway as I can't keep a secret.

YIKES!! sucking on lemon sounds like the last thing i wanna do!!! its feeling better today but every thing hurts it, even chocolate!!!! I may well try the lemon theory, if the doc doesnt know what it is then i ll try any thing!!
it makes me so jealous that you ve all had/have got bubbas in your tums except me!!
cd13 today, no sign of ov yet, 5 days till my appointment, i hate to say it but it has come round quick!!!!

Rachel it could be movement. It kind of felt like a tickle/flutter in my tummy. Took me a while to realise thats what it was as it felt kind of insignificant at first. How are things anyway? How far along are you now?
Sarah how is your mouth today. This might soung a bit bizarre but try sucking on a lemon if it is still sore. It will get your juices going and might clear out any infection. Also if you do this and it really really hurts you could have developed a stone in your saliva glands. (like a kidney stone but much smaller)
Emma how are you. How are you coping being back at work?

Hi, i am feeling a little bit better now, havent been in work today still felt crap this morn but have been using the mouth wash the doc gave me and i think its helped the swelling go down, hopefully its gonna disappear soon!! well dh got back at half 1 last night, he said he did try to wake me up but i was too out of it, its hardly surprising i haavent got preg yet between us, never mind!!!

Hi everyone!!
What a week....... My dh discharged himself on Sunday and has been fine since but I've been knackered all week and have caught a cold. I also had to take my car for its MOT on Tuesday and its cost me £300 to get fixed. On Monday I had my second midwife appointment and got to hear babys heartbeat, which was amazing, but then I got told that I had to have a gestational diabetes blood test on Friday, which was ok but the nurse bruised my arm taking the blood
However it doesn't seem to matter very much because I have a scan tomorrow and will get to see baby again and hopefully find out if I'm having a girl or a boy..........
