Hellooo!
Back at work today - boo! Glad to see some more BFPs on here - wooppee! Well done Jet and keeping everything crossed for sandrad.
Well I'm on CD3 today - but strangely not bothered that af came. I'm feeling much more positive and just happy that agnus c did the trick and back on a 29 day cycle. So I recon af/bfp day is 25th Oct. Here's hoping! Sleepy - looks like we are cycle buddies again!
I got my opks on ebay - seemed to work ok - so would give them a go - a lot cheaper anyway! We are having to watch our money too - our mortgage reverts from fixed rate in Feb so a bit nervous about the rates!
Well - I managed the lining paper in the dining room ( some hol!) - lots of bubbles but I'm hoping paint will cover a multitude of sins!!
Sheeze - its Blair Drumond safari park hun. We were at the one in west midlands ( white tigers and lions - fab) but I believe Blair Drummond in Stirling is good - shuts in Oct for winter though I think.
Hang in there ladies...............hoping we'll all jump on this BFP train soon - seems our thread is getting lucky!!

29/9/08 09:51
OOH Sandrad, am keeping everything crossed for you!

Let us know when you're thinking of testing - good luck hon.Jet - am so pleased hon, it's a relief when the symptoms are strong isn't it, but we all understand the jitters....am sure everything is fine but here's some

anyway.Must log onto ebay and take a squizz, thanks Dawn. We've always steered clear of the OPK's but I might just give it a go now that dh is behind the idea?!
Happy Monday to us all. XXX

Dawn, yes please that little pink line is getting darker so please put me in as a BFP! I promise I'll stop poas when the cheapy tests run out (got about 5 left
)I'll say something, the hormones are stronger this time round, getting plenty of nausia
but fortunately nothing to show for it, yet. Am putting off seeing the doc so far, it just seems very soon and I'm still a little nervous in case it doesn't last.We had a lovely weekend, we took ds to the beach for the first time since about may! He loved it, we went paddling and just sat in the sun watching him play and dreaming of a day when there will be two playing.
29/9/08 09:00
Ooo Sandra - could be
. Not thought about testing? Gonna leave it for a few more days?Got to dash out, speak later

Well I'm little perplexed - I thought af arrived last Thursday , a little (couple of drops) bright red blood in loo but none on pad, then brownish again barely anything for an hour or so and since then nothing - I've been having pregnancy symptoms (not that I'm watching lol), big veiny boobs, bloating, occasional nausea and waves of tiredness that are knocking me out. So I've decided to just enjoy this "virtual" early pregnancy and see how it goes, I'm sure in a couple of days/weeks I'll be kicking myself for even thinking I was pregnant but for now I shall simply enjoy - does that make any sense at all - probably not
- but it just feels cosy and nice so I'll stick with it for now.love hugs babydust and luck to all
xx

hi ladies another nice sunny weekend, not done much, although i did make a yummy strawberry roulade, it was practice for DF 40th party next sat.
sheez glad you had a good weekend with DH, its so nice when just the 2 of you can get away. shame about the knee, hope you got lots of jiggy time.
sleepy you can get cheap opk,s off ebay, they do them in mix and match sets you can have for eg 20 opk,s and 5 pg tests or all opk,s or more pg tests, they are about £2.50 and work very well, ive been using them a while hun. Sorry af got you but you seem very calm about it

hope all you other ladies are good, we need more BFP girls!!!

Hi I'm back from a romantic night away in a fancy hotel with just DH... we did have a nice evening and then walk this morning. We then went to play tennis... and I did my leg in again -grrr not fair, so I'm hobbling again. So I sent DH off to play golf with his pals as I could see he was itching to. Completely forgot to have a chat about ttc and when to stop - doh!! but it was nice just the 2 of us for a change and DS didn't miss us atall and slept in till 9am for Granny & Grandad - how come he woke at 6am for me yesterday???
Bad luck Sleepy re af
. I think other threads recommend ebay for OPKs, but I've never tried them as I promised DH I wouldn't use anything!Need to google achilles as I think that's what I've damaged!
Hope everyone else is having a good weekend
x28/9/08 10:44
Just checked, so that's CD1, cycle 8..thanks as always to Dawn for doing the list. XXX
28/9/08 10:42
Thanks Sheez, AF arrived today though - hey ho - at least the lack of symptoms meant I didn't get my hopes up. So that's CD1 for me (cycle #...ummm is it 7 or 8? and AF/BFP due ??? I give up on that one). Thanks hon.
Dh has suggested OPK's (flabbergasted as thought he wanted to just keep trusting to Mother Nature)...then I told him the price of the ones in Boots lmao - mind you I could try and find some cheaper elsewhere. We're on cutbacks at the moment as our mortgage is going up at the end of November and it seems unlikely that we'll get a better deal in the current climate. Could be worse but we'll need to shop and eat a lot more thoughtfully! Any good tips for cheap but reliable OPK's please???
Hope you are all well. Having a good weekend? We did a very hilly bike yesterday - we have decided against a repeat of that one
. Had a lovely Friday as dh had the day off - we went swimming on our own (ds at nursery) - pure luxury lol. Just pottering about now.Okeydoke, TC all, XXX
26/9/08 19:18
Evening .. hope you are wrong sleepy and it's not af on it's way, maybe you are just grumpy - tee hee
.Dawn I'm due 17th October - right in the middle of my holiday with just DH - what a pain that will be.
I think Selwyn may be on holiday, didn't she say she was away for 2 weeks - hope it's a jiggy holiday.
Speak later
x26/9/08 17:05
Hi all. Just a quick one really. Am fairly convinced am not pg this month. I had a day of feeling snappy and emotional yesterday - I usually get that about now before AF due. No other symptoms and now in the 1ww. Am not bothered for some reason - long may that last lol!
Selwyn - are you still about hon? Hoping all is well and that you have some very good luck and news coming your way soon.
to us all and
to you lovely bumpladies.Have a good w/e! XXXXX
26/9/08 16:51
Just bumping - found this lurking on page 7!
Dawn just to let you know cycle #6 cd2 - af due about 22nd October for me
.Have a good weekend all.
25/9/08 18:44
Evening all - I'm in a good mood, prob cos af is gone and I'm out with the girls tonight so must run and prepare.. watch out Edinburgh! Saw the other thread re am I too old at 40 and looks like everyone knows mums over 40, it's just getting PG that is the hard part..
big smiles too all and lotsa
x25/9/08 15:56
Sorry to hear AF got you Sandrad - (((()))) to both you and Sheez, I know you've both been wondering when, if, whether etc etc.....I think you'll just know when to 'stop' (which as you say sounds so wrong/odd) and maybe taking the pressure off and just having fun jiggy with no contraception might be the way forward when the time comes. Stick with us and we'll all try to chill a bit about the artificial age thing (sooo easy to say but much harder to do lol).
Dawn - hope you jumped dh lol!
Jet - have I missed a very definite am pregnant post - if I have then, sorry and CONGRATULATIONS ...hoping all is well hon.
TC to all XXXXX
25/9/08 13:53
Thanks for the positive vibes Dawn! x
I know what you mean Sheez - do we just carry on "trying" and see what happens? Do we just stop "trying" but not use any contraception and see what happens? Or do we got to the dr and get contraception? Oh the dilema - contraception seems so final - perhaps I'll go with option 2 lol!!
love, hugs and baby dust to all
x
24/9/08 23:10
Thanks Dawn, you're sweet. I don't feel too old physically, bet you don't either Sandrad ,but it looks like it's not gonna be so when do you give up? DH suggested having another bash this month so who knows but we'll have to stop one day soon.. tum tee tum... I'll sleep on it, night all

Hi all - well I have to say I was quietly confident this month - but alas no had a wipe of bright red fresh blood last night (sorry tmi
) but just a very slight brown discharge since. I know af is about to put in an appearance but a bit of me still clings to the slim hope that I may have a miracle. I'm with Sheez as I'll be 44 next month and really think I should stop now - I have so much to be grateful for - I'm just feeling a little sorry for myself.love hugs and buckets of babydust to you all!
xx
23/9/08 18:19
Hi all
Jet... sounds a bit hopefull.Hope you are OK Rose, I'm sure baby-bean will be... but do try not to fall out of any more doors

There'll be no-one left on the thread soon as you'll all have your BFPs soon at this rate -
to the few that haven't, just keep practicing with DPs girls.... I'd like to see you all get a BFP before Christmas please.. and I don't like to be dis-obeyed!!
I have Saturday night away with DH in a hotel for a cosy break, nice, only the 3rd night I've ever spent apart from DS...
have a nice evening
x

Welcome back Selwyn ... enjoying work - tee? I don't work mondays so went to Botanics and got soaked - but still good fun kicking leaves etc with all DS's little pals.
Does seem lots of BFP activity at the mo - ooooooooo wouldn't it be good if it was catching!!! ... best get jigging girls!
