    Hello

Clare - great to hear that everything went okay with the scan and that your dates are right.  Sorry to hear that your feeling sick though - hope you feel a bit better now...  Haven't got any suggestion (I'm a bit rubbish!) but make sure your getting rest if you not feeling a 100%.

James is fine, back to normal - sleeping in his own bed and not waking up at daft times although these dark mornings have got him a bit confused!!!  His ears are fine, he's still on anti-biotics, has to finish the course but he doesn't mind because the medicine is banana flavour (which he loves!)...

Everything is okay with me and lentil, now we know we are having a boy we are trying to decide on a name, we did have Thomas but George didn't like how it went with the middle name we've picked so now we are toying with Joseph and others!!!!

Kate - hope your starting to feel better?  xxxxxx

Good afternoon Kate and Laura, how was ur wkend?

Kate how are you feeling? Is the pain getting easier? Have the hosp given u an explanation yet?

Laura how are u feelin? How is ur son's ear now?

I had another scan on friday and the baby had grown dramatically, it put me dead on my dates of 7.5 wks yet 2 wks b4 my first scan showed no more than 3wks, i even saw the heartbeat which has put my mind at ease now.

The only thing im not liking at the min is feeling sick all the time, with my 2 dd's i was only sick for a while but this one im constantly feeling ill and dcant sem to budge it no matter what i do

Kate - agree with what Clare has said, the hospital should be looking into it and making sure you're okay.

Hope that you continue to feel a bit better and that everything else is okay, xxx

Hey guys, thanks for your messages, I'm feeling a bit better today still not able to stand up straight or do my jeans up but feeling a bit less sickly in myself and the pain is easing off as long as I dont move too much.

I dont really know, the hosp have been really reserved with their info so have put a thread out to see if anyone else has had this problem and if so how long it has taken to get back to rights... dont mean to scare anyone but just want a bit of info!!

Hey ladies, Clare I'm glad everyhting is ok now and that the scare has passed, that cant have been nice, and Laura congrats on the scan..... another boy for you both!!!!

I've not had a great few days, went for the hsg on monday, everyone had said to expect a bit of discomfort and take some analgesia beforehand which I did, but God Almighty I didnt expect pain like that!! I said at the time how painful it was when she put the catheter in but was told that it couldn't be that bad and that it was just like a period pain.... came out and passed out in the changing room and was eventually told I had suffered cervical shock was to go home and relax.

over the next few hrs felt really poorly but had no bleeding. by 4 hrs after procedure was doubled over and crying depite all the meds I could find in the house and take. I rang the gynae ward who again said that I must have a low pain threshold and that I should take some paracetemol and stay home. I explained about all the meds having no effect and they said they weren't necessary.

In desperation I got dh to drive me down to my casualty where I collapsed again in front of my colleagues. Following lots of morphine and an emergency transfer to gynae theatres I was told that following a 1 in 10,000 chance they had managed to perforate my uterus twice when the catheter was inserted and in the space of a few hrs a severe infection had set in, had been bleeding internally and my kidney function had started to suffer.

I was finally discharged this evening following hefty doses of iv antibiotics and pain relief. my waist size has increased by 6 inches and am feeling really quite poorly still

dont want one of those again!!!

on the bright side everything was normal and tubes were clear!!

Hello ladies, how was ur wkend?

Laura congrats on the news of ur scan, ur gonna be a bit out numbered aren't u lol Sry 2 hear ur unwell!

Kate how did ur appt go yesterday? did i get that right?

I had a bit of a scare yesterday, woke up with awful back and belly pain, couldn't walk or sit so dh had 2 rush home from wrk and get me up 2 docs, thought we were losing the baby

Doc examined me and said baby is fine but my back needed spinal munipulation as it was frozen, it bloody hurt wen he did it   he said i was 2 relax and not do anything strenuous for the rest of the day and i should be feelin better within 24hrs, also said belly pain was cuz of my cold and the coughing and sneezing i had been doin.

2day i am well on the mend, my back is fine no pain at all and my belly has calmed down to.  Saw mw 2day and did all the paper wrk needed, got a scan on friday then i get to choose an erly scan at the beginning of december when im 12 wks, cant believe im 7 wks already.

Well ladies - there was no doubt about it that we're having a BOY, he was proudly waving his willy (typical fella) around...

Everything is fine and I can't wait until the next scan to see him again...

Hope you ladies are both okay, xxxx

Hello - hope you both had a good weekend, I've been ill with a sickness bug that's going round the nursery (!)  James had it but mildly and now I've got it full force!  Feel rubbish...

On the positive side - off this afternoon for another scan, can't believe I'm only 20 weeks, I feel huge (and I'm not exactly svelte anyway!) and like I should be near the end!!!

Hope your weekends were good - it's a bit dark and miserable here today which doesn't help...

Hi ladies, well its been a busy 3 days for me.......1st my youngest was ill all night mon, then my eldest was sick all night tues, and then yesterday my little one got in a bit of a fight with a bag full of heavy toys, but she ended up worst off as she cut her head open, so after a rush to hosp and a clean up she only needed to have the cut glued.....phewww.

Laura how are you apart from being tired?? Sry to hear bout your little boys ear!

Kate how are you? How long till the tests? Think im getting xcited for you lol

I had a meeting with wrk 2day and made it clear to them that i was leaving, 1 cuz i have the baby to think about and my girls, and 2 cuz i was not gonna be messed about by them, they said it was fair enough and were sad to see me go, but they respected my deision, so i am now a lady of leisure

Afternoon ladies - very tired today (was up very late last night with James because he had earache - he's prone to ear infections according to the Doctor!)...

    How are you both!?

Kate - not long now until you go for you tests - I'm keeping everything crossed that things are what they need to be and to you by the bucketload!  Also, really good that they were able to fit you in sooner - I hate waiting for anything!!!!

Clare - glad everything is going okay and like Kate said if work were being poo then your better off finishing and resting, are things going okay?

    xxxx

    Hey,

Claire I'm glad you feel more reassured now that you have spoken to your Gp, sounds as though staying away from work is going to be a good thing, sounds like they have been pretty cr@p with you, which is the last thing you could do with now.

cd1 of clearblue cycle 4 for me now.... strange, feel glad cause it means I'm fre to go ahead and have all the tests from the hosp......... but still had this little voice in the back of my head saying how great it would have been if I had got a BFP the week I was due to start all of them....... hey ho, we'll get there

    Good afternoon Kate and Laura

Laura it sounds like u had a nice time, just a shame u got all that wrk to do.

Kate that is BRILLIANT news, im so pleased for you,

I went to see gp today but the free fluid, he says it wot gets released after the egg and if pregnancy occurs it pops and thats wot makes the hcg show up, he also said that for me to have 6 bright + at such an early stage means i have alot of hcg in my body, he said that sometimes it can be a cyst that burst but as the sonographer that did the scan was not concerned he cant see it being this.

I have also had to hand my notice in at wrk, gp wants me to be on rest through out pregnancy.....which is just ever so slightly annoying, but as far as my job is concerned i couldn't care less, since they found out im preg, thay have been treating me like rubbish and swapping my shifts round so that i do rediculous hours without much of a break.

Hey Guys, Claire I'm so plased that the scan went ok. that must be a weight off your mind at least.... i've got everything crossed for you still.

    Laura how are you doing?

We went for the appt and it went really well, came out feeling really positive as the team are very proactive! They said that my progesterone levels are borderline low which could have contributed to the miscarriages, they are doing bloods and an HSG next cycle to double check that I am ov reg and that my tubes are clear. If I am ov then no clomid will be req, and if the hsg is clear then they will move straight onto IUI (to be decided whether drug stimulated before and after or not). If  I req Clomid then they will wait for a few cycles and see how I go.

Ultimately I go back in about 10 wks for the final decision.... so chuffed at the minute.... despite being on cd24 and spotting!!
