i'm afraid it's not good news. I had some bleeding (see 'bleeding' thread) and had some blood samples taken.

My beta HCG was 7.1 which is incredibly low. we are seeing the specialist tomorrow but there is no way I am still pregnant with that count.

Well, thought you might like to know. I bough a digital and a pack of 2 normal tests. Took the digi and one of the others together (probably a mistake) and the digi came back positive and the other negative.

I am of course going to test again tomorrow ont he remaining test iwth FMU but am over the moon nonetheless

well I have realised this morning that the test I had waiting is out of date (only last month). So I don't believe the results. But it came back with a very faint second line.

So now I am going to have to og out and get another dammit! Stupid chemists don't open till 10... This is darn irritating!!

No Helen I am certainly not one of those people who get pregnant at the tick of a clock lol

It took me 3.5 years!! I had a mmc (missed miscarriage) at 11 weeks in June 06 and it took is about 8 months to get pregnant with that one and its taken us 2.5 years for this one. So fingers crossed all is ok with this one!!

I’m just so hesitant about getting my hopes up. Have talked with hubby about how this feels different to the others and he said the fact that I mentioned such weird symptoms set bells ringing in his mind too. I have told myself to wait and if af doesn’t come tomorrow like she’s meant to I will try to convince him to let me take a test on Sunday instead of Monday lol.

Thanks for your advice. I do feel a bit out of sorts and can't work out whether i'm just coming down with something from the stress or if it's what we've been waiting for for what seems like forever! we'll see :S

I got my bfp a week ago and the signs i noticed where sore boobs and feeling just a bit out of sorts. I couldnt put my finger on it but i just felt 'different' i had felt slightly sick but not actually vomited. Also noticed increased cm. I got my bfp 6 days early on a fr.

Everyone is different though and someone symptoms for pg can be the same as someone else's for af.

Sorry i'm not much help but it does sound to me like you could be but you've been under a lot of stress and that can keep af away too. Do a sneaky test now - a fr will prob show if af due tomorrow. Other than that hang on til Monday if you can do that without going insane!!

Hi all

I was wondering what early pregnancy signs you know of...?

My husband and I have been trying to conceive for 6 months now (I've been off the pill for but it feels like forever. Every month I start to get excited 3 or 4 days before my period is due and every month it is a couple of days early. I have also been so worked up over it that my body has been 'making up' symptoms.

This month, however, has been stressful. Hubby had a scare as he found a lump in his testicle (luckily all clear) so we have only managed to have sex twice. Once around ovulation time (although have not been using thermometers so don't know exactly when that is), once a week later (1 week ago). We have also been stressed as one of my pets is very ill and probably going to die.

I put it down to stress over little Jack (my sick bunny) but the last few days I have been shattered, not sleeping particularly well at night and yesterday I felt nauseous and had an absolutely splitting headache. I had to go to bed for a nap I was so tired. Today the nausea is better (I have not vomited at all thank God) but I am tired (despite sleeping till 10) and I feel kind of woozy, a bit lightheaded almost, getting small headrushes even sitting down. I know this sounds a bit grim but I have been experiencing increased 'discharge' too.

My period is due tomorrow. Which in itself is something as it always seems to come a day or two before I expect it to rub in my face the fact I'm not pregnant.

I really don't want ot gert my hopes up but this month has felt 'different'. Mainly because I have not been spending every waking second thinking about getting pregnant, and also these symptoms occurred before I realised when my period was due (it's normally the other way around).

I am forbidden from taking a test until Monday but do you think there is a chance I could be pregnant or is it just psychosomatic again? I have not experienced any breast tenderness/darkened areolas, metallic taste, heightened sense of smell or any of the other more common signs. And only mild nausea (no actual vomiting). I really don't want to be raising my hopes agian as when we first started out I was getting crushed every month when Aunt Flo arrived
