Hi Ladies,
My dh has agreed for us to TTC our #3 next year. I really, really want a #3 but I am seriously panicking about affording to have another child in the midst of the current global financial crisis which seems to have no end date in sight. It's not like we don't earn a good salary between us, we don't have shares in anythig so we've not lost any money per se. We do have a big mortgage that is paid for by some of my dh's salary and certainly not one that we could afford just off my salary if he were to be made redundant. The silly thing is it's not like he is actually going to be made redundant. He has just been promoted this past week and was also told this past week that 1) the team he works in is the team which is contributing most to his company's business and 2) that the project he is working on is funded for at least 5 years. I just wondered if I'm the only one who is freaking out (somewhat irrationally) about the current financial situation. Mainly, want to know from those of you who are ttc how you are managing to rise above it, continue ttc without being worried. Also, just to say my kids are 5 and 2 and I don't want a couple of kids and then a big age gap and then a single 'one' on the end and dh doesn't either (he was that 'one' tacked on the end and hated it). And also, I am 35 soon so can't wait for a few years til everything has calmed down because I don't have time. I NEED HELP!!!!! Thanks girls xxx
