Hey sweetie. Huge congrats on the successful weightloss! I'm so glad that they noticed that and are taking you seriously. I'm glad to that the appointment was more positive but deep down I wish the NHS could do more for you, as I guess my experience of the unindated testing for reasons here is immense and I wish you could come here and be looked after, however I am so pleased that the route through private will commence very soon. It will be here before we know it and like you say, that elusive bfp could come along and knock you over while you're drinking a healthy smoothie!!

I didn't get a chance to post last night - but I did check that all went well.
I guess it seems ages away but there is one good thing with the wait and thats that you'll have the body of a goddess by the time it comes round. You kept your weightloss very quiet but well done, and such a steady loss means it'll not be coming back again either. The next big bulge with be your baby bump.

Well the appt was ok, no great shakes - oh but apparently after further ovulation analysis i have a "beautiful" set of results.........arguable by the lack of bfp me thinks !! lol x consultant was pleased with the commitment to my weight loss - am averaging a healthy loss of 1lb a week and my healthy bmi is within reach. The diagnosis of "unexplained infertility" is defo where we are and there is no more can be done for us on nhs without waiting on the list - defo not an option. So we are now on the self funded list - and its likely to be sept before we can commence treatment due to waiting times. So whilst that sounds ages away and a lot longer than a lot of private lists, its another 6 months to perhaps get that au naturale bfp as the consultant says there is no reason why this couldnt happen.

Huge amounts of luck in that appointment today sweetie. Don't let them fob you off and stay in that room until you have every questions and query answered. You've waited so long for this, ensure you get every answer that you need.

Sorry I've not posted for a while hunni, but I do keep a check on how you're doing. Sorry to hear about your ankle - hope you are completely recovered soon, and hope DH is recovered enough for the crucial time!!

thanks ladies xx well my ankle is healing now - still very tender and swollen and am limited to what shoes i can wear.........and oh i have so many lovely shoes..........lol xx
DH is now off work with flu so no bding this week so far and its getting to that crucial time
mixed feelings about tomorrow's appt , as with no action plan from our last appt in december (which if you remember was all of 5 mins) its difficult to get motivated about it. However we will be asking to be taken as private patients and see where that does or doesnt fast track us lol xx
Early night for me tonight i think - i'm exhausted and really hope am not in for the cold - dh is sleeping in the spare room - so not good for ttc !
Thoughts are with Ali right now - praying for Petal to hang on in there

oh hon... can you believe some people. I can't believe your friend could be so insensitive;........ and so stupidly naive! I know we all went through that feeling of ' maybe it will happen first month' but surely ???? surely she can't go around say ing things like that. What a cow.... Plus.... I'm so sorry that i haven't posted in your diary for a while, but i do always read it. I'm sorry that you hurt your ankle, i always make a bad patient too,
I know how you feel about people around you announcing bfp's, i've got a 23 year old cousin with 4 kids, she doesn't look after them, she lets anyone into her flat as long as they sort out her kids & she doesn't have too, now she wants another baby & as she falls pg so easily she'll probably be pg before i have to go to my next fertility appt, it makes me sick, it's not fair, there's so many things i want to say to her but i have to bite my tongue or it could cause a big family argument. hiya girls, thanks for your messages xx well i am still hobbling around - went back to work on monday and my ankle has this evening blown up again like a balloon - so i am taking my ice pack and hot water bottle to work tomorrow !! lol xx still can't drive and really hating losing so much of my independence - i am a terrible patient !!
more pregnancies in the "real" world have been announced, one in particular has really affected me -an ex colleague, recently married and made no secret of the fact they were ttc - every twinge, every bd session was reported in emails to me and hey ho what do you know they got their BFP !! and newsflash - omg kerry it took us 3 months - we were starting to lose hope!! i wont disgrace myself by typing on here what i wanted to reply with....................
The list i made in jan 08 of "ttc" distraction tactics has worn thin and its only march !!!
Sorry to moan, but its just been one of those days............
