    Hi hun,

It seems like i'm back from my break at the right time, to rescue you from page 14, lol.

I'm so glad your mil is on the mend, she does sound like a brave lady and she's so lucky to have you as a dil to care for her.

Congratulations on the weight loss, are you doing Weight Watchers or Slimming World??  I need to lose weight badly, how have you done it??

thanks girls xxx MIL has been doing ok at home the last few days and seems to have a new sense of determination and fight that she didnt possess before. I take my hat off to her , she really is a very strong lady and has done so well - long may it continue. She  now has a wheelchair and i swear i think she has been out more the last couple of days than she has the last year.........but the fresh air will be doing her good and the weather really has been lovely the last couple of days.

Not much else to report from me, work is mad busy as ever and the days are just flying in. Healthy eating still going to plan and on saturday i got into my size 14 trousers... still by no means a skinny mini but hey ho it will do for me lol xx

Off to ladies day at the races on saturday with my pals, cant wait - just need to get an outfit sorted now.

    to all

    Thanks girls xx

MIL is doing ok so far, in fact the hosp has allowed her home yesterday and today for a few hours. She gets taxied home at midday and has to be back for 6pm and its so nice to have her in her own surroundings for a short time and it cheers her up as its so clear to see that the last 2 wks in hospital has got her down in the dumps, understandable i guess. She has to have an operation on tuesday, not sure exactly of the details but its hoped they can assess and alleviate some of the damage to her arteries and minimise the likelihood of this happening again. There are no guarantees as always but its worth a try. It will all be done by keyhole surgery and she will be sedated rather than knocked out as they deem that too high a risk. To sum up, her kidneys and heart are not in great shape due to being diabetic and coping with many years of high blood pressure and the fluid on her chest has taken its toll on her lungs. But we just have to keep positive.

No other news from me really, have been on holiday from work for a week but tbh its been a case of hospital visits, housey stuff and catching a few rays of sun on the deck. Had a couple of good days out with friends aswell but omg the week has just flown by and i cant believe i am back to work on tues, as ever the week is never long enough lol............xx

Thanks for all your good wishes ladies, its much appreciated

    and to all

    K xx

    Hi hunni,

I thought i'd pop in to check up on you, sorry everything seems to be going wrong for you at the mo, but it has to get better.   I feel like you about being here, it's hard, i'm also running out of time and to make it worse i found out that my mum had an early menopause, something which i'll definately mention at my appt next week.

Keep your chin up hunni, good things come to those who wait or so i'm told, lol.

Oh Kerry, huge ((((((HUGS)))))) for you. I know we all found out the hard way that life is never easy but it really shouldn't be this hard either, you really don't deserve it at all. I really hope so much that life gives you a break soon and I hope that your dh opens up and lets you in to help him.

Dreaming of being happy doesn't make you selfish and finding Bounty tough on your emotions seems quite normal to me ........ maybe we'll find each other on msn instead one day soon.

    Loads of love and hugs,

    Katxxx

Hey K...(((((HUGE HUGS)))))  So sorry to hear you are so down at the mo.  It must be extremely hard for you having to deal with your MIL and your DH's reaction.  They handle stress so differently to us girls.  Really hope things pick up for you both soon.  You have had to deal with an unbelieveable amount of stress and I can totally understand how you feel with regards to TTC and the BFP announcements.  It just seems to be a never ending reminder.  Just want to let you know that I am thinking of you all.  Sending more n (((((((HUGS))))))) Em xx

hiya ladies, thanks for all your wishes for my mil, sorry its been a while since i updated.

mil is still in hosp and receiving oxygen and the main focus is draining the fluid on her lungs , once this has been done and she is strong enough they will do tests to ascertain what damage has been done to her heart. This has been the 2nd time since january 08 she has been admitted with acute heart failure bless her. She is very poorly and omg she looks so much older than her 72 years.  Though when i saw her tonight i did think she looked a lot better so i hope that a recovery, however slight , is possible.

DH is devastated, and seems to have retreated into himself and not communicating (as men do...)  I am trying so hard to support him and keep things at home on an even keel but its proving very hard but what can i do?  Life is rarely easy as i am finally realising.

I have been having some very selfish thoughts at the moment as i feel that our main focus as always has to be ttc , but there are just so many things in our way and so many ifs and ands and what ifs...........

If ever i could turn back the clock and have some years on my side (and on my mil's side) then it would be now i would do so.

I am also finding bounty a very hard place to be right now, i would never ever in a million years begrudge happiness to anyone (esp not the FB girls) but whenever i log on i see so many bfp threads in general that it just serves to remind me that i am treading water in life.

to all, i wish you all well and thanks as always for your support xxxxxxxxxxx

    K x
