Of course I dont mind you asking, as anything you like.
As I am sure you had noticed with all the injections, its impossible to get all the drugs in, there is always some left in the syringe. Apparently the clinics allow for this bit of wasteage when they give you the dose. You'll never completely clear the syringe.
Best of luck for EC. What time is it? How are your follies doing? Where are you being treated?
11/12/07 13:04
Hi Kelly, really sorry to gate crash your diary, I'm new to this forum.
I'm currently going through IVF treatment and having EC tomorrow. I did my HCG injection last night and am really worried because I used the self-injector and when I withdrew the needle there was a blob of liquid, about the size of a pea, sitting ontop of my skin! This obviously didn't go in and I'm now terrified that I haven't had the correct dosage! I've read on the internet that the HCG trigger is one of the most critical parts of the treatment! Was wondering if you could let me know how your HCG injection went and what EC is like?
Hope you don't mind me asking xx

Thanks Hunni,
I text my nurse at the hospital and asked if she would tell me off if I tested early, and she rang me straight away. Asked me when my EC was and said that today was not too early. The only reason the cons said to wait 14 days after ET was that if it was a neg then, then it would never become a pos, and if needed they could give us something to bring on AF.
She sent me for a blood test to confirm it too. I went to the hospital to get the slip, and saw my cons. He was grinning and congratulated me. I asked if I was in trouble and he laughed and said absolutely not!
They will call me this evening with the blood test result. If its above 5 they will be happy.
Fingers crossed.11/12/07 10:40

Hopefully now you can forget about infertility and look forward to having two beautiful bubbies in your arms in the not too distant future. I'm so pleased for you Kelly!! Good luck for your official test date on Friday but if today's anything to go by I'm sure you'll have two lovely strong lines on your HPK!!! Jo xxx

Hi girls,
Forgive me for I have sinned.
You know I said last week that I tested with OPK's on Weds and Fri last week to check that the trigger inj was out of my system, and the line was practically non existant, well today I tested with an OPK after getting constant waves of sickness, and to my suprise, the test line came up straighjt away, and is almost as dark at the control line.
Considering they were next to nothing last week, and soooooooooo much darker today, do you think I have a chance of being PG?
9/12/07 15:12
Hi ya girlies,
Thanks again for all your messages.
Feeling ok. Sickness comes in waves and at different times of day. Cramps have calmed down a bit but crop up from time to time.
Boobs still big and heavy, and tender round the outside edges.
I keep going from one extreme to another. One min I am pretty convinced I am PG, and the next adament I am not.
I will prob be testing Weds (although test date is Fri) I have tested with OPK's on Weds and Fri of last week to check if the hormones were out of my system, and they seem to be.
Had my work Xmas party last night, and it took me ages to pluck up the courage to dance, and it was all very soft movements- nothing jumpy, was pretty hot at the YMCA though- LOL.
As the night wore on, people got drunker (obviously) and werefalling about all over the place on the dancefloor, so I sat down so no one would bump into my belly.
Will of course keep you posted.

Firstly everyone thats ever had any kind of fertility treatment knows all about the ups and downs dont panik
secondly when i had both lots of treatment they told me that if one or both of the eggs didnt implant i would probably get spotting on both occasions only one of the eggs implanted but i never had any kind of spotting so everyone is different i also had some cramps durout the first 2 weeks after et and took this as positive sign that they are taking hold and not letting go (((((((Hugs to You ))))))))
will eagerly await your next entry
Good luck

Big hugs going out to you hun, I know how you're feeling, up and down all the time. I started pulling my hair out round about this time, but then the next day I'd feel really positive. At least it's another day over and done with and I'm sure your little Pinky and Perky are doing just fine in there!! I hope you have a good weekend!! I'll try and pop on and see how you're doing. Take care and hang in there!!! Jo xxx

just sending some more - you can never have enough x x x
7/12/07 16:06
I can imagine that there are times that you must feel that way. I usually find that these negative thoughts can then change to more positive ones, that helps us cope.
Although i have never been through what you are going through just now and I can only imagine how you must be feeling, I can relate to what you are saying and can imagone how difficult all this waiting is.
I am sending you some postive
and a (((((big hug)))))) and hope that you are ok x x 7/12/07 11:18
Thanks girls, I am having an "I dont think it will work" day today, for no reason really.
Felt sick during the night last night, and getting flutterings in my tummy. Boobs still huge and full and tender on the edges (was also a bit veiny last night). Cramps died down again.
Not weeing too much or feeling tired which concerns me a bit.
And we are only halfway through!

Hi Kelly, please update with blood test results so we can all congratulate you properly!!! Love Jo xxx
