    hi jfc

sorry you had such a s***ter of a day but glad you managed to have a few cuddles with a little one which cheered you up.

    mmmmh greek food enjoy!

don't worry about not feeling too positive there are plenty of people on here who are doing it for you. what with willy whipping, roller coasters, ice cream and greek food i can't see how it can fail! maybe you should get kat to write a thesis on it. it might discredit her somewhat though (sorry kat i am ruining your career here!).

have a lovely weekend and try not to get into too much bother!!

I have heard a little rumour that embies love Greek food too so you should eat a little extra just for them. Sorry you have a tough day or so but I'm glad you have perked up a bit now.

    Morning!

Thanks Slimchick, I'm feeling better today. Yesterday was just one of those crappy days. But it got better when I spent an hour with my neighbour's 15mth old daughter, she's such a tonic. Love her, always makes me laugh. Plus we got invited to a BBQ at neighbour's parents on Sunday so that will be great! They're Greek so the food will be fabulous, I loooove Greek food! Which leads me to answering your question about our holiday. We're going to Crete. I'm so excited about it, not had a proper holiday for 3+ yrs so this is very much needed!

So, that's about it really. It's a week today that I am supposed to do the dreaded hpt, I'm going to try not to let it upset me this time though. Just keep thinking of that holiday!

    & & to all! xx

oh man, today is a s***ty day. after a row in debates with someone less than kind i was left feeling very upset and emotional. then found out a colleague is pregnant but may be miscarrying, she didn't even know she was pg. i feel so bad for her. dh's cousin has a malignant growth in her breast and has to have surgery. any more crap life can throw at the ppl we care about?!!

to top it all i'm just generally not feeling very optimistic. i suppose the only thing keeping me going is the holiday on 16th sept. i wish i could just know the outcome of this iui already! it's the waiting that drives me nuts! ok, so it's only another week away until i'll know one way or the other, but these weeks are the ones that drag by so slowly it's like life goes into slow motion. pleeeeeeeeaaaaase let me be pg, i will do anything if i can just be pg!!! rant over.

ROFL! Kat, you are so funny!

I'm not feeling particularly positive today, but then neither am I feeling pessimistic, just a bit "whatever" I guess. I suppose I'm just in limbo so don't feel much one way or the other. Goddamn 2ww is so pants!

Anyway, lots of work to do so really should get on with it! Thanks again for all your support ladies, it's so much appreciated.

There is no way an embie wouldn't want to stick around. Laughing and having fun is just what you need, and obviously being turned upside down and inside out on a rollercoaster will help too. Your egg and sperm were probably clinging on to each other in fright  ....... lets hope so.

LOL, that's all the excuse I need to pig out on ice cream Jo, thanks!

LMAO, if I get that elusive BFP I will be recommending rollercoasters to everyone, lol! At the very least it took my mind off everything and gave me such a great laugh. At one point my tummy ached from laughing so hard! I got soaked on one ride and was in hysterics. Now me and neighbour want to go to Blackpool for a weekend so we can ride the Pepsi rollercoaster there, it looks so fab! Big kids, we really are!

OK, I'd better go and get some lunch and take my next lot of vits, I have become anal about this vitamin lark! Hope you and bean are doing well Jo, sending you lots of just because you can never have too much! xx

    Hello

Glad it all went well although sorry it was sore. After all this none of us ladies will ever moan about a smear test again will we.

I am so glad you could go to Chessington and I think having such a good time must only be a good thing. When you get your BFP (+++++) everyone will be jumping on the closest theme park ride after their treatment to see if the 90mph trick works for them!

Sounds as though you are doing all the right things although ice cream is good as it is dairy so you can carry on with the Ben and Jerry's for the next 2 weeks.

I hope you are enjoying your time off work.

    Hi ladies!

Sorry for being AWOL so long! Been busy and at times a bit lazy, lol.

I'm glad I was able to bring so much cheer to you all, lol! I did come clean to DH so he knows everyone knows his embarrassing story, lol. I even told our neighbours in front of him, teehee! He doesn't mind, he thinks it's hilarious too. Plus we are like best mates with our neighbours so it's all good.

Everything went well Friday, although the doc did hurt me this time, maybe I was too tense from holding my pee all bloody morning and then having to wait an hour past my appt time for the IUI to be done, grrrr! Still, it's done now and just a waiting game.

Doc said it was fine to go to Chessington on Saturday so we did and had a fantastic time. I laughed all day and had an absolute blast! I had some very very minor cramping that day, just across the pelvic bone but it went away. On Sunday DH and I did a bit of BD and afterwards I had a dull ache that lasted about 20-30mins, I'm not reading much into that though. Then, on Monday night I woke up at just after 4am with some minor cramping, felt a bit odd, almost like a sprinkling of cramps and certainly nothing painful really, yet it woke me which is unusual. It went away as soon as I woke up though so I fell straight back asleep. That's about it really, so far. It's far too early for me to be feeling anything that could possibly be pg related so I think maybe the cramping I've had has been more to do with my poor cervix being fiddled with while I was feeling so tense.

Anyway, I've been knocking back pineapple juice like it's going out of fashion, maybe that's causing my cramping, lol! I've been really good with my diet (apart from the ice cream I've had every night, ooopsy) , eating brekky every day, healthy foods (well except on Sat, hard to eat healthy in a theme park! ) and been taking all my vitamins religiously. So, test day is Friday 5th Sept, not sure if I'll test then or the next day, I'll see how I feel.

That's all for now folks, wishing everyone lots of and special strength for those in need and especially for Scarlett. xxxx

    Hi JFC

I am still chuckling over your diary. Your DH is a celeb and he does not even know it (or have you come clean?).

I hope everything went well and as Kat says it was a very romantic evening chez JFC's insides the other night! What was the upshot with Chessington?

RIght now onto the 2WW. I have everything crossed for you this time and so hope we will be celebrating again. Just remember to keep laughing and taking whatever it was you were on on Thursday

Ha ha ha thats so funny. Could that be an omen do you think? God is in fact a woman after all and she has inflicted a bit of pain onto Mr JFC's bits so he can have a fraction of empathy for when you get pg and give birth.

Poor bloke - I bet he doesn't have first clue he is the subject of our laughter today!!
