LMAO! Manboobs, loving that idea!   Hmm, never thought of that, perhaps there is something in these trigger shots that makes me particularly evil, lol!

Phew, am all sticky now, been running around! Colleague is pg, only about 5 weeks and I'm the only one she's told. She came over faint and dizzy so had to get her to sick room and run to shops to get her some biscuits to try and raise her blood sugar, is that the right thing to do I wonder?! She's ever so worried belss her, but I told her as far as I know it's pretty common to faint and feel dizzy etc in early stages. Another friend fainted all the time when in early pgy so I'm sure it's quite normal?!

OK, you want to hear something really funny?! Here goes!

Undressing for bed last night, DH took off his shorts and one leg got caught inside out, so he very very very vigorously (violently even!) shook the shorts the right way round. Nanoseconds later he's lying ont he bed clutching his willy, looking very red in the face, and biting the duvet while moaning. The silly tw@t had whipped his willy with the shorts! I almost wet myself laughing! He had a small red welt-like mark on his willy and insisted on examining it carefully while screaming about the pain. Me? I just couldn't stop laughing! Obviously I checked he was ok, but the laughter didn't stop and I'm still chuckling now! So when he threatened me with "a world of pain" earlier I threatened him with a "wily whip", mwahahahaha! Evil? Me?! Never!

LOL! We are wicked, it's true! But it's damn good fun!!

Oooh, I don't know! All my triggers have been sub-cutaneous, I never gave it a second thought tbh! I feel like a proper wimp now though, knowing yours were all in the muscle, ouchy!!!

LMAO! Yeah, maybe it'll help to defy gravity and hit speeds F1 drivers are subjected to! Then again, now I think about it, on the info sheet they tell you to avoid strenuos exercise and things like bungee jumping! Who does bungee jumping that often they felt the need to advise against it after IUI?!! Hmm, I think I'll ask the doc then, me and neighbour will if he says no to Chessington!

Cor I never knew you two were so wicked Lol

Glad it went well. How come you two can do your trigger shot sub cutaneously? I always had to have mine intra muscular and it was a killer. Right in the muscle at the top of my backside. I have never seen such a big needle. It stings for about a day afterwards.

JFC I am not sure about Chessington as I have never done IUI but I think it is definitely worth checking with your nurse before hand. You never know being turned upside down at 90mph might do the trick!

try not to terrorise your DH too much

ROFL! Yeah, I'd have made something up too, lol! Although I'd probably say it can cause the testicles to swell and bruise and to seek medical attention urgently! Dammit, if we have to go through this crap the least our men folks can put up with is the odd bit of fun poked at them!

ooooooh, you are so, so cruel!!!! but its funny though...lol.

i did something similar with my dh...on one of our previous attempts, he accidentally p***ed himself with the needle after he had injected me and was bleeding slightly on his finger. anyway, i told him that according to the leaflet inside the box, it says that under no circumstances should the drug be injected into men as it would have an adverse reaction and would cause a rash!!!! you should have seen the look on his face....and i couldn't keep a straight face, so he knew within seconds that i was lying!!! lol....oh well....i think its good to keep them on their toes!!!

ok, i am so mean, lol! i sent dh a text earlier to wind him up. said "oh s***, my leg is swollen and all red, what have you done to me?!" i am wicked! he was worried, lol! now he says just for that the next time he's going to make sure i'm in a world of pain, lol! he thinks he's amazing now 'cos the injection didn't actually hurt after all, keeps telling me he's "the nuts"! men!

Oh my goodness, JFC!!! I'm so glad there is finally someone else who is as much of a wimp as I am!!!! I was telling Jo that for the 2 weeks of jabs, I have to get my DH to do my jabs and it is a real palava having the injection done. Basically, I lie there on the sofa in just my knickers and a top. I have 2 injections a day one in my tummy, one in my thigh. Anyway, I lie there and then have to cover my face with at least 3 cushions, and then DH starts to get ready. And then just as he is about to go for th kill, I have a mild panic attack and say "noooooooo I'm not ready yet!!!!" so then he has to stop and I have to compose myself again. We go through this at least 3 times before I finally pluck up the courage to let him near me!!!!! If people could see us, they would have a right laugh!!!!

Anyway, good luck sweetie, you really do deserve this!!!

    Love and kisses,

    Scarlett

LOL, yeah, it was the house of drama this morning! He injected into my thigh, same place the nurse always did the Pregnyl, I prefer the idea of thigh to tum, seems like a tougher place so I can handle it better, lol!

Speaking of taking it easy after tomorrow, do you think it's a bad idea to go to Chessington on Saturday? My neighbour wants us to all go and I love rollercoasters, but now I'm thinking maybe it's not a great idea?! Would it have any impact on things? Oh I'll have to ask the doc tomorrow now, I'll be so disappointed if they say not to go though. We're like big kids, me and her love all thie big rides, lol!

    Hi JFC

Well done on doing your jab. Sounds like it was fun in your household this morning Lol! What are you like?! Where did he do it?

My Dh has never done any of my jabs he can not even watch. When I have a canular put in for EC he has to look away. Hopeless!

Just wanted to send you lots of and for tomorrow. Make sure you rest up tomorrow and take it easy for your time off.

    morning!

slimchick - wishing you heaps of for your ivf! ivf seems to be the winning formula in here these days so i'm very hopeful for you!

thunderbird - pregnyl (like ovitrelle) is used to mature the egg and induce ovulation. it's not really necessary if opk shows positive but if it doesn't they like to do the trigger shot so they can accurately predict when you will ov so they can time the iui right.

speaking of shots, dh did mine for me this morning, what a big baby i am!! i lay on the bed and kept saying "do it, no no no, i can't, oh s***, i feel sick" lol! i was shaking and my heart was racing! i have no idea why i was so nervous about it, maybe because i'm used to a nurse doing it and i trust them to know what they're doing! dh said "i'll count down to do it" but i said "no, just do it! if you count then i'll be expecting it!" and kept looking away, lol! what a palava! i didn't even know when he'd done it! lol! i am so daft sometimes!

so that's that, and tomorrow is basting day and i'm feeling excited, nervous and surprisingly positive! i told dh last night that this is the month so he'd better make sure those swimmers are in tip top condition 'cos i intend to announce a bfp in 2 weeks!

well, i'd better get some work done since i won't be here again until next thurs and my desk looks like a landfill!  wishing everyone lots of and sending to all! let's get pregnant ladies!!!    xxxx
