I'll keep everything crossed (I can do that now I'm starting IVF soon ) that you get your BFP this cycle. I think we are on a roll in fertility treatments with the BFPs at the moment but there can never be too many!

Hi JFC all the best for the next couple of days - I see you are having IUI as well.

I was prescribed pregnyl last week for my trigger shot (had the IUI on the 11th). Anyway I don't fully understand what its for but I was told I didn't need it so its now in my fridge lol. I just hope no-one other than my dh sees it and asks what it is ha ha so its right on the top shelf behind the Yorkshire Pudding lard.

Jo, you're right, the hosp did the previous injections for me, but that was with Pregnyl so they did the mix for me as I didn't like the idea in case I screwed up! This time it's Ovitrelle which is a pre-filled syringe so I can do it at home.

Scarlett, ha, I'm not THAT brave! I think I may get DH to do it for me! I don't think I'd be able to stop my hand shaking enough to do it myself!

I do hope this is the lucky one for me. It's been almost 3 & 1/2 years now since we 1st started on this TTC journey and I'm getting impatient now, lol! I'm glad I'll have 5 days to relax after the IUI, I intend to do as little as possible, eat healthy food and drink lots of pineapple juice, and bd lots too of course!

I'll post tomorrow after I've done the trigger shot, and I'll probably be worrying that I did it wrong or something, lol!

Hi JFC,

I can't believe the trigger shot is so soon and you are so brave doing it yourself. I had to get DH to do mine. There is no way I would have let that needle come anywhere near me if I was doing it myself.

Anyway, wishing you lots of luck. Keep us posted hon.

Wow that is excellent and your lining is really good too and you still have a couple of days for it to get even comfier. Is this your first time doing your jab? I seem to remember you going to the hospital for it before. If so hun and make sure you have something particularly yummy to reward yourself with afterwards.

JFC I have everything crossed for you and Scarlett in the next couple of weeks. You have waited long enough in the BFP queue and I think you both need to move on and clear some space for some other people.

Thanks for all the lovely words ladies.

Today's scan showed the lead follie is at 18mm and the endo lining at 9.8 (I think it was, well, 9. something anyway, lol). No LH surge so they've given me the trigger shot to do myself (aaaaarrrrrgggghhhhhh!!) tomorrow and Friday is basting day!

Can't believe the follie grew from 11 to 18 since Monday! I'm guessing it'll grow some more before I do the trigger shot tomorrow, so I'm praying that this'll be 3rd time lucky for me. Please keep your fingers crossed for me ladies, I need all the and you can spare! xx

Hi - new to this diary but just wanted to say hi as I am having IUI as well. Just in week 2 of 2ww.

All the best for some nice big follies. Mine have a habit of being really small for ages just to give me a heart attack and then bursting into life right at the last minute lol

How are you doing? Sounds like you are getting on really well with your treatment. Hope you are getting well and truly into the BDing mood I'm the same as you. I always think its weird doing it when you have family staying...it just doesn't feel right, especially if its my parents that are staying over. I'm 33 years old and still feel like a naughty schoolgirl if my parents are in the next bedroom!!! LOL

Anyway, I'm keeping everything crossed for you hon. Wishing you all the luck in the world. We need to see some more BFP's now that Jo has started something here!!!

Thanks Jo. Do you think they're a good size already then?! Cool, I'm always nervous about whether they're big enough, this is like high school all over (boobs replacing follies tho, lol!)! I am going to make sure we get heaps of bd in as well this time, the last time we didn't get the chance due to having my brother stay with us (always feels too weird trying to bd with family staying, lol). I have no plans for the long weekend so I think just plenty of bd and rest! I'm feeling positive this month, these BFPs that are going around are a good sign! xx

Ah Thanks JFC! Glad to hear you are starting to feel better. at the dentist be brave!

Your follies are a really good size already and hopefully as they are both the same size they will both mature together and give the swimmers double to aim at!

It is great timing with you having a week off afterwards too. Are you up to anything nice or just chilling out?

Morning!

Right then, now that I've gone nutsy over on your thread Jo (congrats again, I really am so pleased, you deserve this BFP so so much! ), I shall update my own diary, lol.

I am feeling much better thanks. Although that may be because I'm popping paracetamol pills like they're going out of fashion! I have awful toothache and I think that may have been causing the headaches etc. So I now have to make an appt with the dentist (noooooo! please don't pull my tooth out!).

I'm all done with the Clomid and today had my 1st scan. I'm on cd9, I have 2 lead follies at 10 and 11 mm, endo lining I think was just over 5cm. Next scan on Weds morning so hopefully follies will grow some mroe and endo lining will thicken some more and we'll be set to go by Fri/Sat. Which is fantastic timing as I'll be off work then until the following Thurs, so plenty of relaxing at home time!

That's it for now, I'm off to do some work for a change. Big hugs to all and let's keep those BFPs rolling in! xx

Oh Kat, lol! You have really made me chuckle this morning!! I love the romantic eve, bottle of wine idea! So funny!

I'm feling a little better today, the nausea has gone thankfully! Still got all the other crap but somehow feels less awful with the nausea gone.

Nearly forgot to take my Clomid last night! Suddenly sat up in bed and said "Clomid!" and DH got up to get it, lol!

Right, well I'll keep an eye on ttc for your thread Kat, although I know you'll keep us all posted anyway. Keep smiling, I love your positivity!

Or maybe while your body is distracted by the virus it'll forget about how awkward it was being about getting pg. Your body will be so busy fighting off the virus that the little egg and spermie can have a nice quiet romantic evening together, maybe dinner and a bottle of wine, without anyone noticing. A bit of time to get to know each other might be the perfect BFP recipe.

Sorry you are feeling so rough though and I hope it passes quickly and turns to morning sickness before you know it.

Colleague has gone to docs this afternoon so we'll see what he says to her, chances are whatever she has, I have. Great, just what I need! My body to be concentrating on fighting a virus instead of concentrating on getting me pg!

And last night I had a lovely dream too, I dreamt I got my bfp. I couldn't believe it and wouldn't tell anyone 'cos I wanted to test again to be sure. I feel crappy today. Woe is me!

Oh pants, I think I have some sort of virus. Headache that started on Monday has not gone, also getting intermittent earache, nausea all day every day (worse at night and morning), tired all the time, and last night I felt very odd indeed! Went to bed early and less than an hour later woke up feeling strange, couldn’t move my arms/legs. I tried to call DH as I felt frightened and it took about 5 attempts to get a word to come out and even then he said he barely heard me. I feel a bit spaced out sometimes too. One of my colleagues has been having very similar symptoms too, she was off yesterday ‘cos of it, so I’m thinking we have some virus or other. L
