Oh, forgot to mention Jo, my cousin lives in Ireland so I haven't seen the rock yet, but I hear the hand is rather weighed down, lol! Wedding in Ireland, fab, that'll make it a weekend event, yay! Listen to me! They only got engaged on Friday and already I'm planning their wedding! Naughty me!

Hope your head is starting to feel a bit better. Headaches are the worst....make you feel so awful.
Good luck with the Clomid. TBH I don't really know much about Clomid as it wasn't something we were ever offered. but just wanted to wish you all the luck in the world.

Hiya
DH had a lovely relaxing birthday, lol. He decied he'd rather have a cosy night in that go out so we got a take-away and watched a couple of films. Had a glass of wine but I'd had a headache all afternoon/evening and was very tired and wasn't in a good way by bed time. Still had the headache this morning and feeling groggy, headache has eased a bit now but not gone. Just feel drained.
AF arrived Sunday and has been quite light, am just waiting to see what it's like today, so far nothing there. 
Started 1st Clomid pill last night so onwards and upwards eh?!I know you're probably right Jo, that article in the news really didn't help in keeping me feeling positive. Bloody morons, depressing women all over the world.
Great news about Kat, will have to drop into other thread and say congrats! Might just put my head down on my desk for now, sleep is all I want tbh, lol.

I hope your DH had a good 30th
. Both me and my DH are 30 next year. I don't want to be 30 I like being twenty something. Do you have to grow up when you get to 30? That is a real shame you could not get the day off. I hope you did something nice in the evening.Ooh you have an exciting wedding to look forward to. I love weddings especially when they are someone you really care about. Has she got grazes on her knuckles from dragging her left hand around?
So round three starts here for you. I understand why you don't have much hope JFC as it gets harder each time and that recent article in the press did not help matters. It is beyond me how papers can print such guff.
However there is absolutely no reason why this time is not your time. I tell you it is third time lucky for us both. You will not have to do IVF it will not even be an option. I am feeling really positive for you this time. You have patiently waited your turn and there is a BFP just round the corner.
Kat has had her approval good news and I have told Scarlett and Min that the 4 of us will be leaving this board very shortly onto pastures new.
Can you tell I am in a positive mood today he he!

I'm keeping my fingers and toes crossed for you, I have a good feeling! I'm not convinced IUI will work for me tho, I'm pinning hopees on IVF next year. But as I'll be on hols in fertile time I'll be making sure DH is kept busy! Yeah, muscle spasms can be really painful. Wouldn't wish it on anyone, it's just pants.
Am feeling sorry for myself today. Was meant to be off work today as it's DH's 30th b'day, but I let a colleague take the day off instead to look after her 3yr old grand-daughter. I want to be at home with DH on his birthday, no fair!
My lovely cousin who I grew up so close with we were almost like sisters has got engaged at the weekend, just 2 days after her 30th birthday too! I am soooo excited for her, so happy and can't wait for a wedding invitation, lol! Apprently she has left-handitis at the mo, lol! Must be weighing her down that new rock!
She really is one of the sweetest people I've ever known and her fiance (love saying that!) is such a gem. They are a fab couple. They just recently got 2 Boxer puppies too, it's all systems go lol! OK, so today is cycle day 2. I've emailed Barts so am guessing they'll get back to me telling me 1st scan is Monday 18th. I start my Clomid again tonight and I'm anticipating IUI will be either Fri/Sat next week which is fab as it's a bank hol and I won't be back at work until the Thurs, so plenty of time to relax at home!

Hope you are feeling better. I have a friend who gets muscle spasms in her back and is in agony with it so I really do feel for you.
I think 3rd time lucky is going to apply to us both and we will both be going on holiday with a little secret inside.

I have had a back problem since I was 14. It's nothing I do, it 's just a muscle that goes into spasm and hurts a lot! Acupuncture/cupping really helped it last week though, fantastic!
Well, my next IUI (and probably the final attempt as it's the 3rd one) is coming up in a couple of weeks. My guesstimate is for the tadpoles to be put in 22/23 August, so it won't interfere with my holiday at all.
I'm feeling a bit better about my friend, I truly am happy for her especially as she's been through so much. But it still stings a little, I just try to brush past it though. She's a lovely girl and deserves this so much. It's her 2nd baby so will be ncie for her lo to have a sibling.
I think the timing of hearing about it was just a bit off for me as I'm due AF at the weekend so was probably feeling a bit pre-menstrual and sorry for myself, lol!My Zita West vitamens arrived today, woohoo! Starting my new health kick and following Zita's plan once DH's birthday is out of the way! Well, it's his 30th so I have to indulge, lol!

It is good to see you back on here. How did you hurt your back? I hope it is back on the mend now.
It is not too long until your holiday now. How will that tie in with your next IUI?
I think everyone has been guilty of the green eyed monster when friends announce their pregnancy especially around the time of the end of a treatmen cycle.

Hi ladies
Sorry I've not been here for a while. Have spent the last 2 weeks laid up with a bad back
All better now though, more or less anyway.I'm feeling a little down as my friend has told me she's 6 weeks pregnant. I am, of course, thrilled for her. But still feeling sad for myself. On the up side, I've been reading Zita West's book and she makes a lot of sense! So I've ordered some of her recommended vitamins for me and DH to take, and I'll be starting a healthy regime shortly. New exercise regime, new diet (not for weight loss, just for fertility reasons) and perhaps a Manual Lymphatic Drainage massage to help detox my system.
I'm hoping that doing all this will help us get that elusive BFP!
Not sure what cycle day I'm on but have to pick up my new prescription of Clomid so it's to hand when the next cycle starts for the final IUI attempt.

So sorry about your BFN (((HUGS))).
3 years without a holiday is far too long and must be what your body is waiting for. Some sunshine will be just what you need to get ready to start again and is definitely the best route to a BFP.
