HI Ray.... glad to hear you are reaxing!! HOw nice to be away from stress... what do you do as a job? WHen do you have to go back to work ( groan??))
19/6/08 10:40
Hi Ray
It is good to hear you are staying positive and making the most of some R&R at home. Do you have to go to the hospital for a blood test or are you going to POAS at home?
Yeah the suppositories are horrible aren't they. I was on 2 twice a day last time which was pretty excessive. But it will all be worth it when you have a lo to take home!
I am off to Thailand so I am looking forward to that. My parents live in Bangkok so it will be good to spend some time with them.
Roll on next Friday! Keep up the positive attitude you are doing really well. I have everything crossed for you
and plenty of
to keep those embryos nice and sticky!Jo x

Ray- so glad it all went well with the egg collection and transfer. you must be so pleased that you were able to freeze 2 of them as well

Fingers crossed the sun will be out for you .

Im on my last week of marvelon the mini pill, then start with the injections poss next tues.
I have an appointment at the hospital where they will show me how to inject myself,
fingers crossed that will go ok Enjoy your time off hun speak soon xx

Hi Ray
That is fantastic and to get 2 to put in the freezer is great. You won't need the frosties this time
but in the future it will be good to have them there as they do not age.ET is a bit uncomfortable isn't it and has to be one of the most undignified things ever. At least it is over fairly quickly and it is such an acheivement to get that far and now you just need plenty of
and sticky vibes.I am starting a fresh cycle in July when I get back from my holidays. Unfortunately my FET was a BFN too. We are going to try for blasts next time and hopefully it will be third time lucky.
Anyway you rest up and take it easy. Lots of positive thoughts and
. I really hope this works out for you. Don't underestimate what an achievement it is to get this far. You have done really well.Good luck to everyone else too x

Hi Everyone
Thank you all so much for your well wishes, this has really kept me relaxed & very positive.
Egg transfer went well but it was a bit uncomfortable and it was all over in 15mins. They showed us are embryos on the screen, which made me fill up AGAIN!! The embryology staff told us that the eggs were a good grade and they had already frozen 2 of them. So I am now on that 2 week wait and taking full advantage of it......
Jo & Mrs30 -How are thing with you too, When do you start your treatment.
Ling - Welcome. Where are you up to with your treatment
I will probably be on this site every day for the next 2 weeks!!!!!!!!
Luv Ray xxxxxx

That is fantastic news Ray well done you

I think it is a great idea taking the 2 weeks off. Take care of yourself and make sure you rest up after your transfer.
I am sending you plenty of sticky babyglue. I hope your embies start burrowing nice and deep for the next 9 months.

Hi Everyone
Hope you are all well!
I went in Wednesday for egg collection and everything went well but they could only take from my right ovary, my left ovary had a bit of endo on. They managed to take 8 eggs and 5 of them have fertilised
so Im going in today for transfer.
I have kept my emotions under control over the past few weeks but yesterday all I did was cry. Im still in shock today, I cant believe it. I have decided to take the next few weeks off for a well deserved rest!! I will keep you updatedRay.xx

Hi Ray
Good luck for your egg collection. I hope there are lots of nice juicy follicles waiting to be popped. I had GA for my egg collection and it was fine. I was back up after about an hour. I was a little bit sore afterwards but I was a little bit sore beforehand so I think it was just because there is a lot going on in there.
I know how hard the next few days are waiting for news on your embies so I will be thinking of you. It truly is such an emotional time but you have done really well getting so far. Let us know how you get on.

Hi there, just though I would pop in to say hi. I started my IVF treatment last July, but 2 weeks into it, they found out I was pregnant naturally, but this did not proceed. I then started again in September and had my egg collection in November, when I got OHSS (ovarian hyper stimulation syndrome) and ended up in hospital for 2 weeks. (I have had a kidney transplant 11 years ago so I think this had some contribution to the OHSS). From this collection we had 9 frozen embryos and we had 1 put back in on 25th April. I am now about 8 weeks pregnant. Good luck to all those who are in the process, it will all be worth it in the end.
P.S. I didn't remember anything about the egg collection, I was heavily sedated and normally I think you go home about an hour or so afterwards.
