    Hi Jo

Thanks for your advice. Had my first injection this morning and my partner managed to do it, so I think thats his new job for the next few weeks. (It wasnt as bad as a thought!!)

    Are you going thought IVF?

    Hi Ray

Welcome to Bounty! I found with my jabs that the thought of it was far worse than actually doing them. The first one was nerve wracking but after that you get used to it.

I found they hurt less if when I pinched some fat on my stomach I did not pinch it too hard and also to put the needle in as quickly as possible.

Easier said than done but try not to worry too much and give yourself a nice treat afterwards. I was on cloud nine when I did my first one as felt very proud of myself!!

My Dh did not have the option of doing it for me as he had his arm in a cast at the time. In all honesty I think I would have done them myself regardless as it gave me more control.

for your treatment and let us know how you get on.

    Jo x
