hi, just wanted to give you some hopw really, i told i have pcos after having my ds 3 1/2yrs ago, it then took us 28months to fall with dd whos now 8months old, we had clomid but still did not fall and was waiting for iui when i fell naturally,

to top it all i am now 11+2 with no 3 and to be honest we did not think it would happen to quick so started trying,

do not give up hope i was told that i had a 1in 100,000 chances of having any babies naturally i now have 2 and one on the way so it can happen

keep your chin up and if you feel ready to start trying knowing it could happen at any time then go for it

    xx

Hi I'm also a sufferer of PCOS but I'm quite the opposite to you...the only symptom I have is long cycle and my hormone levels! My scan showed no cysts on my overies at all!
The most common symptoms is little to no periods, acne, high weight and excess body hair (ie, face, hands etc). There are others but these are the most common.
There can be problems ttc but my gyne says it doesn't lead to full infertility. You will probably need to take clomid or similar fertility drug to force your ovaries to release the eggs.

If you type in your internet search engine 'symptoms of poly-cystic ovarian syndrome' you'll find more detailed information on it.

    Hope that helps!!

    I have a questionspannerwalton

I didnt know where else to come for advice. so sorry if this is the wrong forum to post this.  I am waiting to see a consultant as have had a scan recently and they think I have PCOS.  I have not have a period now for 6 months and the scan showed some small follicles on each ovary (although they said they were not enlarged).  The doctor doesnt seem to think i am ovulating at the moment.  I just wanted some advice on symptoms of this as have a dull back ache at the bottom of my spine most days and now I am thinking this may be the cause.  I have a ds who is 1 year old who I am so lucky to have but I do want more and am worried that I wont be able to have anymore.  Should I start trying now again?
