Hi, i've popped over from ttc after losing baby forum, PCOS has been mentioned in my past but can't remeber if def diagonis, I have been ttc for 20 years never a pos test until my present dh moved in with me in 2005 since then i have mc x3, i am also trying acupuncture had my 4th one today, i am hoping this helps.

I have PCOS and have had for many years. Have DD who I conceived on Metformin alone who was born in Sept 06.  Am ttc again and it seems PCOS is still an issue.

I have been taking metformin since the end of last year but seriously started to ttc in February, I had been having cycles of every 5 weeks - which is great for me!  Then it stopped, last one was 13 weeks and this one is already at 6 weeks!  No idea why.

Referred to hospital, having a round of test before they start on Clomid so this is likely to be in Sept time by the time we are through this.

Has anyone had a similar situation on Metformin where it works and then stops (taking 3 x 500mg a day).

Also, has anyone tried acupuncture for PCOS and had any success?  I have a first session this evening (willing to try anything!).
