Hi Ladies,
Thank you for all your posts and for all being so positive. We tested this morning and it's a BFN.
We are totally devstated as you can imagine, I haven't stopped crying since yesterday afternoon when my AF showed up.I don't actually know what to do with myself now I am supposed to go and work this morning at my husbands firm but I don't think I can face it. A couple of my friends knew we were doing IVF and I've had to tell them this morning that it's a no again. They have all been lovely but I am so sick of people saying it will happen when it happens and don't worry there is always next time!! Aaarrgh it makes me so angry!

My dh is being really positive and keeps saying at least we have treatment booked for December but I don't think I can go through this all again. The hormone drugs and the sickness and then the awful 2ww its just torture. I just want to be a mummy but there are only so many knock backs I can take. Sorry I know I've only been trying for a couple of years and there are girls out there who have been trying longer, I'm just feeling really negative about things today.
Speak soon Gem

Hi Gem
Try and stay positive, I was in your boat as you know and mine went into a full AF for 4 days. It ended up being a fibroid (Sorry i cant spell). Still do your test in the morning, my fingers and toes are crossed.
Take care

Hi Gem,
I'm so so sorry if this really is your af - just really feel for you as you've done so well in surviving your 2ww. Just want to send you lots and lots of hugs.
I still do think you should test tomorrow - you hear of people who bleed and go on to get a bfp (not that I'm an expert but the amount of drugs in your system during ivf are bound to send things a bit screwy), but if nothing else do it to get closure for yourself.
I'm just so sorry if it hasn't worked out this time - it's so hard when you've invested so much. Just take your time to cry and rant and get it out of your system - you know we're all here for you if you need us.
Take care of you and make sure dh does too.

Aw hun, sorry af has turned up for you ((((((((((((((((HUGS))))))))))))))), but I would still test in the morning because I'm sure there has been a lady on here quite recently (can't remember who) who bled for a few days but still got a bfp.

Hi Gem,
I am so, so, so sorry to hear about AF turning up. I think you are doing the right thing by still going ahead with the test tomorrow. I'm thinking of you honey and my heart goes out to you. You have been through such a tough time and you deserve to get a BFP like all the ladies on this forum.
(((((((((((((((((hugs))))))))))))))))))))))))))

Hi Girls,
I think that the game is over for me...... I have just been to the loo and my AF has turned up. It's not just spotting it is a full AF. I am totally gutted.

We will still test tomorrow but I don't expect to see a positive result.

Hi Gem
It is your turn for a BFP tomorrow. try not to worry too much about the spotting as everyone has said it does not mean anything as out bodies are all over the place with all the drugs so nothing is normal or not!
Have everything crossed for you tomorrow that you will be sharing good news with you.

Hi Girls,
Thanks for your support. The brown discharge hasn't progressed to anything worse and so trying to keep positive. Only 2 more sleeps to go!
Ray - Knowing you had some bleeding does make me feel better. Thanks for posting and good luck with your pregnancy. Is it one or two?
Scarlett - You are right so many girls report spotting and then go on to get a BFP so I really should not worry. I am glad you think this is my time to get a BFP, I so hope you are right!
Trixibell - Thabks for your good luck message, I would be lost without you girls!
Night night ladies, hopefully we arre going to wake up to some good news from Mrsc!! x

Hi Gem

Hi Gem,
I am hoping and praying that its an implantation bleed...I'm sure it will be hon. Just try to stay calm and keep positive. So many women on here have reported brownish discharge which then turns out to be implantation bleed. I've got a really good feeling about this one Gem and I know that you are going to get that BFP.

Thinking of you hon.

Hi Girls,
Thanks again for all the baby glue - I need as much as I can get today as I have just been to the loo and I have a brown like substance appearing! Sorry for TMI! I am shaking I am so afraid. I rang my dh at work and he reckons its too soon for my period and that its an implantation bleed! I am sure he thinks he is a consultant!!
I am so worried though and I'm praying he is right.
I am going to call my cons now and see if she can suggest anything! Gem x x

Hi Gem
Are you still sane? 2 more sleeps to go

That is good that you went to your NHS appointment and that they were so supportive. Not that you will be needing it of course

I used to work at home and people always used to think it was a cushy number which got very frustraing. I guess at least it gives you the flexibility for the IVF and also when you have your little one running around the joint.
Take care and keep positive

Hi Gem,
I'm so, so sorry to hear about your BFN - we were all rooting for you. You have every right to be down and upset after everything your body has been through. I think sometimes we forget about the strength within us to go through the whole emtional and physical turmoil of IVF. You have managed to get this far, so your consultant knows what drugs work for you. Now its just a case of waiting for that BFP to arrive.
Try to focus on your forthcoming attempt in December honey. I know how easy it is for me to say this, but by focusing on your next attempt, it will give you the time to get over the past couple of months.
We are all here for you Gem and thinking of you.
Big ((((((((HUGS)))))))))))) and
for you.
