Congrats on the results of your scan and the end of your injections - such a relief, isn't it!
All the best for ec tomorrow - hope all goes really smoothly and that you get lots and lots of eggs. Hopefully you'll start to feel a bit better now you're not sticking any more hormones into yourself too.

Hi Ladies,
I had my last scan today and I have 10 eggs that range between 1.5 and 3.0cm. I also have 5 little ones knocking around but not big enough to fertilise. Because it was a Sunday we had to go to another clinic at London Bridge which is also the place they are doing my et and ec. They had a 3d monitor which was brilliant as I could actually see all my follciles, they looked like a bunch of grapes!
Because I have been feeling so rubbish they took more blood to check I haven't over stimulated but thankfully I have not and got the go ahead to do my trigger shot this evening at 9.30pm! Yey no more injections! I am booked in for 8am on Tuesday morning and have been told in total we will be at the clinic for 4 hours but the actual ec will only be 20 minutes. While I am under my dh will be taken to do his part. He is slightly worried now but I told him his role is a walk in the park compared to what I have been through the last few weeks!
I am so relieved we are nearly at the end! Yey! I will let you know how I get on on Tuesday and how many if any at all have been fertilised! Keep your fingers crossed for me girls as I really need this to work!

Hope your scan went ok today im suprised they scan you on sundays.
Hopefully this is your last day for injections.
I had my booster shot last night, so today im injection Free its so nice.I have my ec today really nervous but have to be brave.

Well done on the extra follicles that is great. I am sorry to hear you are feeling rough now. I think the last few days are always the worst as there is so much going on inside you. Just think you are on the homeward stretch now towards egg collection and hopefully once you stop the Menopur you will start to feel better. It is always trial and error with the stim drugs on your first (and hopefully last!) cycle but it is good that the Dr's are monitoring you well and changing things so you have the best possible chance.
for your next scan and hopefully that will be your last and you can have your trigger shot before EC.

Hi Girls,
Sorry for taking so long to log on - I had my scan yesterday morning but then we had a wedding all afternoon and evening so I didn't get a chance to get to my pc.
Anyway I now have 10 follicles (2 more than wednesday) and my lining is nice and thick . I had a bad night on Thursday, I couldn't sleep, I had a painful headache and was sick twice.
I think its coz they have put me on such a high dosage but I am sticking with it. So now I am on 300 IU of menopur which they usually give to women on the short protocol so I am told but my stubborn ovaries just aren't reacting fast enough! I have a scan tomorrow (Sunday) and then I am hoping Sunday will be my last lot of injections and they will let me do the pregnyl to make me ovulate ready for ec.I can feel my ovaries if that makes any sense and athough I am feeling quite rough I am hoping this is going to be worth it.

Sounds like all is going well, although you must be starting to feel a bit like a pin cushion by now !!
Hope your ovaries are doing ok, I remember when I was over-stimulated I could really sense where they were. Sending you loads of luck and really hoping you have lots of top quality eggs.

Hi Ladies,
Its all go at the moment with me. After my scan yesterday my consultant called to say they would like me to have a few more follicles and so upped my dose to 225 IU of menopur. Then this morning they have called again to say they would like me to do 300 IU tonight and then when I go for my scan tomorrow they will call me that evening to tell me the dosage again. They said they would like me to have at least 12 follicles so I am slighlty under acheiving the target at the moment.
I felt very odd yesterday. I can't quite explain the feeling except I felt odd. I am still getting the same headache and I can really feel the pressure in my ovaries. I am going for reflexology today and so that will hopefully help me to feel better.
So thats my update, I am sure I will have more to tell you tomorrow. x x

Glad to hear your follicies are getting BIGGER, its amazing seeing them on the ultra sound tv.
Wishing you good luck for your scan tomorrow, i have my 3rd scan tomorrow as well fingers crossed for both of us.

That is great news. It sounds as though everything is going well and hopefully you will have some really good quality eggs at egg collection.
Take care of yourself and don't overdo as it as your body is working very hard to produce these follicles.

Hi Girls,
I had my scan this afternoon and I have 8 follicles and they are all nice and big! I have 5 on my left and 3 on my right but the 3 on my right are massive which will probably explain the funny feeling I am getting there!
I go back on Friday morning and then I think they will tell me if they are going to collect the eggs over the weekend or later on in the week. Either way I will keep you posted.

Hi Ladies,
I have another scan tomorrow and I am really nervous. This is my first scan to tell me how many eggs I have so far. I am hoping I have enough eggs to keep going. I've not been told how many I should have at this stage but I am hoping for a good few. My scan is at 1.45pm so I will log on later tomorrow afternoon to let you know how I have got on.

Mrs C - I forgot to say I am on 2.0 ml of Buserlin and 150 IU of Menopur. I take 2 powders and mix with one fluid and it stings big time!! x x

Hi Girls,
Sorry I have not been on in a while, I have been busy with work etc. Anyway my injections are going well with the exception of one night when I jumped a little when the needle went in and a little of the fluid came out! You would have thought I had this down by now but hey ho!
Glad to hear things are going well for you MrsC. Let us know how you get on today. I hope you have lots of lovely healthy eggs!

Hope the gonal f is going well im taking it in the evening after work is that the same for you?its going well for me too just remembering to prime it every other time.
Are you still on the buselin i am still on that but taking it in the mornings on 2.50ml instead of 5ml
