Nope never tried this before.... only IUI but I wasn't very lucky with that. We are really hopeful with IVF. We are trying with ICSI, what about you, are you needing IVF with ICSI? We are also doing something called Blastocyst whatever that is?!?!? Please excuse my spelling!
When we signed all the consent forms last week we had to say the maximum of embyo's we would have put back any my dh ticked 3!! So who knows! Would you like 3? I am an identical twin and I'm thinking more than one would be a handful but at this stage I would give anything as long as they are all healthy!
Looks like are drugs are pretty similar, lets hope they work for us both! sending you lots of baby dust!

its great we both have diary im hoping it will help me relax a bit more.
I Started on the marvelon pill for 21 days i think just to clear me out, im now on day 2 of the buserelin injections 0.5ml for 2 weeks then if all goes well on the baseline scan i will be starting the gonal f comes in a pen injection and halfing the buserelin to 0.25ml.
This is my 1st cycle of ivf i have not tried anything else, we have no children but would love 1, 2 or maybe 3?
How about you have you tried this before.

Hi MRSC30,
Looks like I will be a day behind you, how exciting! What drugs are you taking? I am doing 0.4 ml of Buserelin for 14 days then down to 0.2ml of Buserelin and 150 IU of Menopur. I think the first lot shuts my body down and then the Menopur will then start stimulating the follicles. I was doing 75 IU or Menopur before when we did IUI and I reacted quite well. Fingers crossed we both produce lots of lovely follicles!!
Is this your first IVF attempt? Have you tried IUI or any other treatment. Is this your first baby? sorry for all the questions I am going at a 100 miles an hour today!!
Please keep me updated with your progress and hopefully we can be there for each other as I get the feeling its gonna be one helluva journey! Good luck

We too have decided to go private after the nhs told us it would be a 2 year waiting list
I started my injections today luckly it was not as bad as i thought phew

Wow I cannot believe you are 22 weeks already!! It has flown by! Do you know how Lambkin, Gill and the other Emma are doing? It has been so long since I have been on here I have lost touch!
Yes we start Thursday and I cannot wait....I feel really positive, this is going to be it for us I can feel it! Ok maybe I should calm down a little bit! ha ha! Gemx x

Glad the time to start your treatment has finally come around!!!!!, I will have everything I possibly can crossed for you.
Everything seems to be going ok with my little bambini, I am now 22 weeks which seems to have gone sooooo fast. But I think I am still finding it hard to sink in that YES it is actually happening.
I hope everything goes well on Thursday and your new diary is a very short one!!! sending you lots and lots of luck and babydust as always

Hiya
I have no experience with IVF but am starting to lurk in this forum after trying for 14mths since a mc last April. We are having tests etc and will hopefully get some answers
I wish you all the luck in the world, every woman should be able to have the chance of experiencing pregnancy. Some of us just have to wait longer than others!!!!!
I hope your IVF journey isn't too stressful but very successful!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Ladies,
Well it has been a while since I have been on Bounty. I used to be a frequent poster but after our second attempt of IUI failed I decided to take some time off from the forums as I was quite gutted.
For those of you who don't already know me I am 28, my DH is 32 and our infertility is unexplained. We have no children, I've never been pregnant nor even close. To date I have tried everything to get my BFP including, Agnus Castus, Evening Primrose Oil, Clearblue monitor, I've peed on trillions of ovulation sticks as well as peeing on trillions of pregnancy tests! I've been prodded poked, had a lap and dye, HSG, blood tests, scans and I've even stood on my head for an hour after bding!!!
Things are now looking up for us as we start our first IVF cycle with ICSI on Thursday. I am soooo excited! I've done the injections before having completed 2 IUI cycles so I am pretty good at the whole stabbing yourslef in the leg malarky!
We have decided to go private despite being on the NHS waiting list. We have been told we could be waiting for up to 9 months and neither my husband nor I can wait any longer as we have been TTC now since 2005. I know thats not very long by some peoples standards but its seems like a life time for us!!
I've decided to start a diary as we have decided not to tell anyone about doing IVF. We told friends and family about IUI and it just added to the pressure that we had already put ourselves under so this time all my thoughts and feelings I am going to keep to myself and to my diary.
So please feel free to pop in now and again to see how I am doing and if you fancy adding to my diary please do!
