Hi Mrc C,
Congrats on yesterday - really pleased everything went so smoothly for you. I think 9 eggs is a great result - even on percentages you should get a couple to use now and a good number to put on ice. Far too easy to focus on the numbers (I know!) but it's the quality that matters - and as you say, only needs one to stick.
I just hope that your call this morning brings good news and that they've all fertilised and are dividing nicely.
Hope you are relaxing and taking it easy ahead of et - that's Thurs right?

I just wanted to drop by to wish you all the best and good luck for your call today. You've done really well to get this far and 9 eggs is a really good number. Try not to get too hung up on this (I know its easier said than done!). I'm sure you will get good news from the clinic today. Will you be going in for ET tomorrow?

Well done you for getting so far and with such a big smile on your face. 9 eggs is great. We all get so hooked on numbers (me included!) but the quality is the most important thing. You still have a very good chance of enough to put back and some for the freezer which is excellent. The main thing at this stage is that you get some to put back now. The future can wait!
I found the next few days very nerve wracking waiting for the phone call each day but also very exciting. Hopefully they will call with good news today. When are you going in for ET?
Keep your chin up the next 2 weeks are tough but you are nearly a mummy in the making!

What a busy day you have had but well done you and your dh, and its lovely of you to come on here and post to tell us all about it!
Try not to be too down about the follicles, as you say...it only takes 1!

Mrs C what an eventful day uve had.
Firstly, well done to you and ur DH for going through all that. It certainly takes courage. Try not to be down about the follies..I dont know much about them or ur course of treatment but I didnt want to leave it unmentioned. I just dont want u to feel negative when u have done so well

Hi Ladies
It was so nice to turn on the computer and find so many postive thoughts from everyone.
Im pleased to say it all went well.
My dh and me got up at 6am although i didnt get much sleep in the night.Left our house at 6.25am hungry and thirsty as i wasnt allowed any food only sips of water, my very kind dh didnt have anything either that helped.
Got to the hospital at 6 50am luckly the traffic was quiet, the nurse came a few mins later and brought us up to my room.It was quite a big size with a very nice on suite i was spoit.
We had a lady nurse who was very nice, i had to sign a few forms and she went through the procedure.I had to put my gown on then i brought my dressing gown and slippersand put them onto.The annisitist then came in and checked my details tellin me i would be going down soon.I was feeling very nervous but trying to take deep breathes.The nurse then came back and told me they were ready for me Ahhhhh now i was nervous.My dh had to stay in the room i went with the nurse,it was now 8 45 .
I went into the theatre room when laid on the bed with about 7 people introduced theselves to me, the annisitist the put a needle in my hand to knock me out, he asked me about my job then the next thing i remember is waking up in the recovery room there was only a nurse there, after 10 mins they wheeled me back on the trolley back to my dh, phew what a relief to see him, i was now a it queesy and sore.My dh went into the toilet with a dirty mag to do his bit.The nurse checked on me and gave me some pain killers and told us that ONLY 9 follicies were good enough from the 18 they removed.
Felt a bit disappointed but like they say it only takes 1
Sorry for the essay.
We will be getting a phone call between 10 and 11am tomorrow to let us know how many got fertilised,

MrsC for this morning. I hope you get a bumper crop of eggs and they have an instant attraction to Dh's swimmers!! I keep telling my cons to put some soft music, roses, chocolate and champagne next to my petri dish to help the action along He He!

Just thanking all you lovely ladies for your support and help throughout my ivf treatment
Minnie,Kc,jellie,orbette,By the beach jo, Gem gilly,trixiebell.
and anyone else i have forgetten.
I took my last booster shot last night at 8pm it was not painful which i was pleased about.Tomorrow i will be going in for ec we have to be there at 7am its so early.They said we should be home by lunchtime.I know i shouldnt be scared but feeling it as it is the unknown.
Lets just hope it flys by off to a bbq later that should hopefully take my mind off it.
Have my et thur afternoon.
Will let you know how i get on tomorrow afternoon xx

how is everyone 
I bring good news had our call from the hospital at 10.50 and they told us out of the 9 follicies 8 of them have taken.
We are both so pleased its really cheered me up, they also booked us in for egg transfer on thur at 1pm.
I still dont feel completely better my belly is still sore but resting and taking it easy.The worst thing is i have these bullet size peseries i have to take internally which are horrile twice a day.
What a lovely day
