in case i’m not logged on tomorrow, hope mon am goes well too - hopefully loads and loads of eggs from all those lovely follicles!! can’t wait to hear how it goes for you.
my et went fairly smoothly in the end yesterday - although had a nightmare day beforehand, including babysitter letting us down at last minute meaning dh couldn’t be there for it. *** alt="" src="http://my.bounty.com/smiley/msn/sad_smile.gif" /> so now into paranoia of 2ww....i’m already a wreck!!
take care and make sure you relax load ahead of mon. will your et be weds?

Just want to congratulate u on ur progress so far. Ur doing really well and im loving ur positive mental attitude. Its a great idea having three weeks off to try and relax. Wishing u the best of luck for EC. Chat soon.

Morning Ladies
I know its only early but was at the next sale this morning got some good bargains.
After last scan yesterday she told me to take my last gonal f last night and last buselin this morning and tonight do my last injection yipee at 8pm the super booster shot.
Then on sun i wont need to inject.
Making the most of this weekend as not sure how i will feel next week

Hi Ladies
feeling really happy day as i now have finished work for 3 weeks so pleased, hopefully can chill out a bit and relax
.Had a session of accupunture this morning my last one as she said i dont need anymore.Then went onto hospital to have my 3rd scan of the week, I have 18 follices today although the nurse said only 10 or 11 will be good enough to use, so just hope they will be good enough to use, as they have to be a certain grade.
Anyway next visit to hospital is monday at 7am for ec its so early but at least the roads will be quite. They said the op should take 20 mins max then prob will be abe to go home at lunchtime.

Just checking in to wish you all the best for tomorrow's scan. Sounds like all is going fantastically well so far with so many follicles - hope you get as many eggs next week. Lucky you having a 3 week break too - hope you have a really good (and really relaxing!) time off. Great timing!
I'm feeling fine today - still took the day off to rest but feel like a bit of a fraud as I could easily have managed work! Still amazed at how easy the whole thing was - really hope it all goes just as swimmingly for you on Monday and that you can relax over the weekend ahead of the ec. Know that's easier said than done...
As for me, I got my call this morning and 5 out of 6 survived ICSI so just keeping everything crossed they keeping grow until tomorrow (and beyond!). In at 4 for the et - scary.
Really can't get my head round the fact that dh and I have 5 little potential embryos growing in a dish somewhere 100 miles away - is the oddest feeling.
Anyhow, I'll check in tomorrow - let us know how the scan goes and take it easy,

Hi MrsC,
I just wanted to drop in and say hello and wish you good Luck for your scan tomorrow. Having 17 follicles is amazing, you must be so pleased! The last shot to make you ovulate does sting quite a bit but its over in a second so don't worry too much.
Well done for getting this far. I have all my fingers and toes crossed for the egg collection. I hope they collect all 17 for you.
I have doubled my dose of drugs now as I only have 8 eggs and they would like me to have a few more. They are looking at around Tuesday for my egg collection.

How are we all today i just hope the sun does come out, im very happy and bouncy as today is my last day as i have 3 weeks off
, i so need it and its good timing for my treatment.Jelli-Well done on your ec yesterday its just 2ww now for you how exciting
,im amazed how quick they done it, although didnt sound very nice with 5 people looking but by this stage i dont think it would bother me.the amount of drugs we have had, he he. I hope you have taken today off as hols have you the next few weeks off as well.
for the phone call today FINGERS CROSSED xxxJo- How are you i know what you mean about the diarys there is a few of us now, i have found it does help me to relax and talk about my feelings.
My last scan is tomorrow and fingers crossed if that all goes to plan my trigger shot will be on sat its called Ovitrelle with 250mcg pre injected i know that is going to HURT
like you said but ill be brave.I will then stop the buselin at morning and gonal f that evening.D day is drawing nearer, im feeling calm nervous and excited hormones up the wall.

Just doing my morning round of diaries! Try not to worry too much about EC. I was under GA and felt fine afterwards. I had a little bit of bleeding (more like spotting) and was a bit tender but that was it. I know when it is the unknown it is a lot more daunting but I found nothing was as bad as I thought it would be.
with your trigger shot. Is it sub cut or IM? It is a stinger I will not fib but you only have to do it once and it is great that it is the last one too. You will be fine. Then you get a day of no jabs Yippee!Sorry to hear you are getting a few side effects. It does get tiring towards the end as it seems non stop but keep the end goal in sight and it will all be worth it.
Jelli-B well done on your EC. Try not to worry about how many you get. We all get quite hooked up on it but you only need one sticky one to get your BFP. I know one lady on here who went on to have only one embryo but it stuck and she now has a gorgeous baby boy. I hope you hear good news today

OK, so update on EC today; all went smoothly and was far less scary than I'd built it up to be and over far quicker. Possibly helped that I was floating round the ceiling on Temazepan, but hey...
Consultation first, while dh had to go and do his bit (!) then in for the procedure. Was only about 25 mins in the end - bit uncomfortable but nothing like as painful as I thought. Worst bit is embarrassment of 5 people fiddling round between your legs (sorry, tmi) but figure I can live with that as a means to an end.
Slept off the drugs most of the way home and I feel surprisingly fine this evening - so much so I'm wondering if I can still justify the day off work I'd planned for tomorrow!! I know how worrying it is in the build up, but it really wasn't that bad, so hope you can be chilled out over the weekend.
Managed 6 eggs which was slightly disappointed about - had hoped for a few more given not all will survive the ICSI or freezing, but guess it only needs one to stick. Now awaiting tomorrow's call to let me know how many fertilised - just have this terror that they'll tell me none made it. I'm blaming all the spare hormones, but am completely up and down between being really pessimistic and then getting my hopes up way too high.
Fingers crossed for yours on Mon then - with 17 follicles you'll hopefully get loads of eggs!
Thanks for your good wishes as well Ray, and congratulations on your success - it's so encouraging to hear of people it's worked out for! How far along are you?

hi ladies
here is the news; Im now on my 2nd scan and thank godness its all going well i have not got anymore follices but the nurse said 17 is enough PHEW. the nurse measured each follicle and 16 of them measure 14 must be mm and the other 1 measures 16mmand they are growing well so is the lining of my womb.Such a relief.
I have been having some side effects now stomach cramps, sore (.) (.) swollen stomach which is so annoying but hey thats the drugs for you.

Jo- I have my trigger shot on sat, not looking forward to that as i was reading it and it says you have to do it as a darting action so that will be sore
.I willl be put out for egg collection on mon have to be at hosp for 7Am sooo early.Kc- thanks for your good wishes hun x

Hope you don't mind me posting on here, but I've been following your diary with interest and just wanted to say hello and wish you all the best for Monday....
I'm in a similar position and am in the middle of my first attempt at IVF with ICSI after over 2 years ttc (tried all sorts with no joy). Fortunate enough to have one DD (naturally) but trying for No2 just hasn't come together
I'm through my first few weeks of dereg and stimming and EC is tomorrow (Weds) with ET on Fri. Been feeling like a zombie all day (does anyone know if that is a normal side effect of the trigger shot?) and sitting here scared to death right now - both of tomorrow and the potential outcome.
Still, looking up, at least I'm through the injections (for now?!) and after 2 years of frustration this at least feels like positive action - just don't want to get my hopes up too high tho'.
Your results sound great - I had nowhere near 17 follicles so sounds encouraging for you.
Anyway, all the best for next week and hopefully lots of us following this thread can be celebrating BFPs together a few weeks from now.

Everything seems to be going nice and smoothly for you. I am really pleased for you. 17 in total is amazing! You were only hoping ofr 11 at this stage weren't you?!?
I think I am going to have the same problem as you regarding the drugs. I only have enough to get me to Friday! Its crap isn't it and I'm private too.
Anyway glad things are going well. \Iwill log on again tomorrow to see how you are getting on.

That is great news
what a good number of follicles. Is your trigger shot Saturday evening then? I am sure you will probably have a few more by the time Monday comes around. Hopefully they will contain lots of nice, strong mature eggs. Is your EC under GA or sedation?Take it easy and let your body continue to grown all those lovely follicles.

I hope your trigger shot went Ok yesterday and you are enjoying your drug free day today. I bet you feel at a bit of a loose end with no jabs to do!
