bought ovulation sticks off ebay (fertility plan) 25 for £5 but never used them correctly kept forgeting and missing a day or so.....

i went for a laperopscey( bad speller) and something else in sep 2007 all was ok...then we got refered to a fertility clinic and husband left in a sample ....so we had our first meeting on April 1 2008...

OMG   ....professer was lovely went through all my blood test etc etc all ok with me then told my husband he had a sperm count of a 55 year old (he is only 32)...expected them to tell me that they would give me clomid but no......told me i could have 1 free go at ivf as it might never happen left totally shocked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This was 1st april....got home and thought i wasnt ready for ivf so i decided to get the ovulation sticks out read through them properly....waited on the line coming up every day then bang 11th April the line came up ........to cut a very long story short ...

I AM NOW 13 WEEKS PREGNANT SO I HOPE ALL GOES WELL FOR YOU WE TRIED ALL THE TRICKS AND TIPS THAT EVERYONE SAID ....

    Hi everyone,

We had our first clinic appt this week.  Dh and I have been trying for 14 months now after losing id twins in Jan 07.  His initial semen analysis was sub optimal according to the Gp but the consultant we saw said was good enough to be considered normal.  My bloods were all ok too, so - unexplained secondary infertility.

I have to have an HSG - got an appt for it this Friday - managed to get a cancellation, and will be day 8 so just right.  I'm feeling a bit nervous about that, but having read the threads on here plan to take some pain killers beforehand and just be glad when its over.

Dh needs to do a rpt semen analysis next month then we have a folow up appt in August.  If all normal I think plan is to leave us to try naturally for a while longer.  Then if nothing I may need a laparoscopy to rule out endometriosis.

So, I guess at least the ball is now rolling and we sort of have a plan, and reassureance that likely we should conceive naturally.

Fingers crossed and babydust to all

    Lucy
