My husband has Azoospermia and we thought donor was our only route. However, he had a operation called SSR (surgical sperm retreival) and some sperm was found and frozen ! I got pregnant on our first attempt at IVF with ICSI and baby is due in December !!! Good luck all x x x

Hi Newhiterose, my dp has Azoospermia, he produces semen but there is no sperm in it. Our only option is Donor or adoption. Its soul destroying for them..well and me but i always feel more sorry for him - spent years thinking it was me who had probs so sort of know how he feels as i spent years thinking i'd never have my own child! Were having to pay private cos our PCT doesnt have provisions for Male infertility, svaing up hoping to start dec/jan
Not quite the same but it sort ofmakes you feel a bit better when you know your not on your own xxx

i've not heard of this but if he has got a deep psychology problem then surely by pushing him away would not help problem, it's not his fault and he is probably feeling under a lot of stress with it, men need to feel wanted too.

Is it just me or are there others on this board whos man is the one with the problem?
My DH has a problem ejaculating during sex which is preventing us getting pregnant..
We are seeking sex theripy but im not 100% sure its going to work, its now causing a rift between us to the point where I am not wanting sex with him..
Any ideas, advice or anything would be greatly appriciated.
x

My hubby had (yes had) azoospermia and after 2 surgeries we got it corrected and became pregnant naturally. Not much information out there on men's problems as it is far easier to go down the route of IVF for the medical teams.
