Thank you v much for replying hun, i am a bit more chilled about it now, i was just really really p**sed off yesterday as it seems so rediculous!!! I suppose i should just be greatful that my doc has agreed to refer me now and not told me to wait longer!!! I am convinced that i need clomid, one of my buddies on ttc has just got her bfp after being prescribed it and i have only ever once got a +opk which was about last oct, but i was using ebay cheapie tests so i thought maybe it was because they were crap so i bought a CB digi monitor but that also didnt detect a peak!!

Anyway, good luck with the clomid and hope you get your bfp soon.

Hello, we have been ttc for 2 years now, just over a ytear ago we went to the dr's who said there was nhot much they could do becayse we hadn't been trying long enough (I was on depo injections for 5 years and it messed up my cycles) and we had to wait for another year of 'normal' cycles before they woudl; refer me, but I was given day 21 blood tests and smears and swap by the doctor to see what was happening. Unfortucatly I was then taken to hospital with abdominal pains which turned out to be ovarian cysts. I then saw a gyne consultant who said they couldn't do anything until i had been referred by my GP. So went back to the GP and she then referred me to the same gyne consultant I had seen in hospital. That was in April, I am currently taking clomid and am due back for my next appointment in August.

Hi, we have been ttc for a year and i have recently been to see my doc as i never get a +opk, he said that he is happy to refer me to the fertility clinic, i was really pleased as i thought this would mean that i would get to see some one soon, only doc said he had to send me a letter with the phone number for the clinic, this arrived on thurs so i just called the number and they said that there are no appointments showing for my hospital so they would need to send them a letter to get them to contact me!!!!!! I cant believe what a palava (sp) it is and im feeling down about it all now   

I was just wondering if any one else has had problems like this? I have chatted to a few other girls and im sure that they have just had blood tests done by their doc and been prescribed clomid by them but my doc said he cant do that! Has any one had similar experiences with their docs?
