Hi.  Firstly sorry to hear about your experiences - I have also had the same.  Be positive though as it means you WILL get there.  Personally I would not bother to tell the doc for the reasons you said - I would not want him to stop the referral.  If you hadn't done the tests you wouldn't have known so just pretend you didn't.  Hope the hospital can sort you out quickly.  Good luck

Hi Ladies I'm sorry to bother you but my dh and I hav been ttc for over a year now with no luck. The Gp has done the usual tests and can find nothing wrong, he has now agreed to refer us to the hospital.

The problem is that I got a couple of bfp's over the weekend but I have now started spotting and the tests are now negative so I think I have had a chemical pg.

My question is do I go to my Gp? If I do is he likely to tell us to keep trying and hold off on the referral? I know there is nothing he can do now but would rather keep it to myself if he is likely to hold off on the referral..... Any advice would be welcome, thanks
