Hi all,

Just a quick stop by to let you know that i went back to the hospital for another scan for follicle tracking and she still couldn't see an egg that was about to be released, so it looks like the Clomid hasn't worked, and i may get another long cycle, i have to go for a blood test on Wednesday to confirm it. I go back to see the same woman on the 10th Dec, if my af hasn't arrived she'll give me something to start it off, but if it does come i have to up the dose on the Clomid to 2 tablets each day, that means using up my next 2 months supply, so she'll have to give me a prescription for more....... It's weird but when i started taking the first lot of tablets i had a feeling that they wouldn't work, so i'm definately going to hit the 3 year mark,

CD 19 for me managed to a couple of times this month but that is about it! It is a year today since my first appointment with my GP re; my problems TTC.......cannot believe I had been TTC for 21 months now!! Hoping it is my turn soon now that I have clear tubes and a stash of Clomid

Hi girls, i'm sorry i've not been around lately, other than the odd appearence on FB, I can't believe how much more busy I have been lately with my new job and college work. Even my dh has noticed, he said the other day "I thought you were ment to be having more free time, with this new job!".

Though there is nothing really to report though really, other than the one liner stuff I put on FB. I'm on cd 28 and although it's a bit early to feel any aches and pains but, i have started with insomnia with a pashion the last few days, grr.

Keira, it's my approach to junctions and on rouna abouts that let me down a little during test only, or at least from having the same jerk twice, am fine during normal lessons, grr. Not booked back in for me 4th yet but will do soon, when i can afford it, as my nearest test centre is a 45 odd nim drive away so have to book a 4 hour on top of the cost of the test slot to alow time to get there, do a few manuvers, do the test and get backplus extra catch up lessons, hmm

Stacey hope ur tubes are fine and kalee i sooo hope the clomid has worked good luck tomorrow.

Hoping that now I have had my HSG my tubes will be all nice and flushed

CD 15 for me today and yesterday was my first all cycle what with my HSG and then DP having his appendix out! Still waitingfor my written results of my HSG to confirm that my tubes are not blocked.

Nothing else to report.

ladies, hope all these appts and tablets get you your little miracles. glad you are finally able to take your tabs kalee. i know you said that you would be happy just getting a regular af for now but i still hope you miracle comes soon.

stacey, well done on the bonus stash. another friend of mine here has taken more than 12 m worth but has done it under supervision. hopefully, you won;t need that much any way but as long as you are being monitored, go with the flow (if you excuse the pun! lol)

elena, is there something that you are losng marks on continuously or is it different every time cos i reckon you are just getting a bit of bad luck with test times. i know they like to quash it but quota's DO exist and you might keep falling on the back of a bad quota week iykwim? keep the chin up girl and you wwill get there. blimey - i am not even at test stadard so you pipped me ther already! lol

Esmee is nearly six months now and a real darling. we spent the weekend in devon and it was lovely just having family time with the five of us. doesn't happen often so we made the most of it. hope you are all getting some quality time in with your OH's. XXX

Stacey, when i had my HSG, the person doing it told me that everything was fine, so i took that to mean my tubes were clear, but when i went to my next consultant appt, he looked at the notes sent through and he said i had one blocked tube, i told him what they had said and he said that he didn't know why they said that, but it definately said in my notes that one of my tubes was blocked. I really hope for your sake that they are clear, but ask again at your next appt. xxx

Hello ladies sorry I am so late in posting but it has been one of those days today.

HSG went really well was slightly uncomfortable but a lot better then what I was expecting. I was told that I would get my results in 10 days time but cheekily asked the radiographer what she thought to what she had seen and she said that both tubes look clear

So went home on a total high.....DP even managed a smile which was difficult as he had been ill all weekend.

Then guess what my nice bright day had to be over shadowed firstly by my younger sister announcing she was preg. SHe has been with her partner 5 mins and already has a 2 year old that she cannot cope with. Then my partner told me he was feeling worse so we got him an emergency appointment for us to be told that he possibly has appendicitis! He is sat in hospital waiting for the results of various blood tests and scan......

So I was not able to rest this afternoon like advised and now I am in total agony!!

Sorry about the depressing post!

Kalee- do not worry honey I have a medical book and looked up Clomid and am clued up on it xx sorry to hear you are having some side effects xx

Elena- hoe you are ok honey I read your post but my mind has gone blank doh! xx

Hi girls,

Just a flyin visit to say i hope Staceys HSG went ok and great news Kalee about being able to start the clomid. I think it must be going round, this not being able to sleep malarky. I have had quite a problem tryin to sleep myself, i do get quite bad insomnia, but it's normally when 'she' is due, not mid cycle. I ov'd friday and sat and we 'd but i dont hold out any hopes.

Anyhow, gotta dash, so take care for now girlies xxxx

Hi

Well i'm officially on Clomid, been taking for 3 days now, had to wait until cd3 to take it cos it has to be taken on the 2nd day of full flow af, and on cd1 af came in the afternoon, it's making me feel like sh*t, i can't sleep at night, i get hot and cold flushes and yesterday i had some dizziness, i'm so tired, just want to sleep.

Stacey.... goodluck for your hsg & how lucky were you getting 6 months worth of Clomid instead of 3, just remember that you're not supposed to take more than 12 months worth in your lifetime, take care, xxx

Elena.... how are you, i guess your new job has been keeping you busy, how's it going???

Yes I was prescribed 3 months worth but the lady in the chemist actually gave me 6 months worth not taken it this cycle as having my HSG on Monday absolutely terrified!

Hope you are ok honey and keep us posted on your cycle got my fingers crossed for you babe and hope you do not experience any of the grotty side effects.

I think af came today but it's so lite, although the cramps are getting more intense, do i take the clomid tomorrow or the next day???

Elena, so sorry you failed your driving test again but 4th time lucky, i passed my test on the 4th attempt too, so get the next one booked.

Stacey did you get anymore Clomid, sorry if you've already said but i'm not online for long and didn't have time to read too far back.

Nice to hear from you Elena xx Sorry you failed your test honey. I passed on my fourth attempt so sure you will too (although I remember swearing after the 3rd fail that I was never doing another!). Will they give you a sedation or something for the HSG? To be honest from what I have read a HSG is better then a lap and dye and most people who have the lap and dye go onto have a HSG anyhow xx We will have to be brave together. Because of what they are doing they cannot risk you being preg so they asked me to have protected sex from CD1 this cycle to be on the safe side xx

Also sorry to hear about your brother-in-laws little one.....I would be tempted to say something to them about their smoking though Have you heard any news?

Just counting down the days now until HSG....got the weekend off which will be lovely need to keep busy though as I am already feling nervous now.

Any info advice you can give me Elena would be appreciated! Would DP be allowed in with me? How long does the procdure take etc?

Hi, am here, so much for having more time lol! Stacey thats great news about your HSG booking , don't worry about it tho please, that was a rare thing and if it really hurts you tell them, don't let them hurt you so much it comes to something like that happening. I saw my gyne yesterday, she really on't want to put me in for lap & dye, she wants to try the hsg again but this time dilate me. She really scared the crap out of me about the lap & dye thing saying she would prefer not to do life threatening procedures like that and preferes to stick to hsg. It is def a good idea to take dh along, i had to so i could get to scunny, but even if i could drive, i would have still wanted him to go, he didn't come in with me but waited in the waiting room. lol at no rudies lol.

So she is going to get ack to me with a date, i asked if i could possibly have a tue or a friday, with my teaching on the others, but she said she only holds surgery on a wed (oh crap!!! but i will just have to do with that and hope college will let me carry the days lessons into tern break (they do allow that sometimes). I was so mad though as they didn't have any of my doctors records or dh's along with no records of his swimmers test. She asked all the general past history including if my smears were up to date, which i am due another soon, but i said they have always comeback fine, which when she asked if i had ever had any std's made me feel really mad, as arn't smears meant to check for them as well as cervical cancer grrr! Anyhow she is also going to find the results from my gp about dh's swimmers and she recomended i go for a smear. I forgot to ask her how soon she would let me know about a date and wether me and dh should abstain ourselves, though last time we did and they didn't seem bothered, so long as you just took a pg test before the procedure.

Oh and i had my 3rd attempt driving test yesterday and am affraid i failed again , i felt doomed from the start though, as it was really busy and i nipped to the loo, when i came back my examiner was waiting for me and fook me it was the same a$$hole i got on my last one , i couldn't help my nerves, the guy really needs a personality check, he really puts you off, i recon he just hates women trying to learn to drive, my instuctor said he is known for failing people. Though i really did fook up though, i can't really blame him this time apart from it just being him

Essay almost over, there is concern at the mo as my bro-in-laws little boy got rushed to hospital yesterday with breathing problems , they have kept him in and are monitering him, they have put him on an hourly inhelator, so it's just a case of waiting to see what happens. What really pi$$es me off though, is both of them smoke like a trooper, she smoked through pregnancy (didn't even cut down) and is still smoking through this pregnancy .

Well thats me for now, Kalee hope you are okay hun and Emma it's lovely to hear from you, but don't worry about not keeping up with us all, we know you care and you are in our thoughts even if you not always here at the mo, love ya chuck
