Thanks for the info Sammy - I have asked that question before, and I have cut down on alcohol a lot since TTC, but I still have a couple of glasses of wine a week. Maybe I'll have to rethink that now!

during my time here i have seen many ladies ask que reg alcohol and have never know the answer to it.Personally i have cut down but not altogether and thought that was ok.

While at the hospital today i asked my consultant if she knew any limits or risks involved with drinking when ttc and she said that following a study done recently,ladies who drank as little as 2 glasses of wine in the last 2 weeks of the cycle were twice less likely to concieve than those who did not drink.For those like me who enjoy a bottle of wine-this news has opened my eyes and i am only going to enjoy a drink now very rarely.

When you think about it,you'd give up alcohol when preg so if alcohol can minimise your chances then its worth thinking about it-if your gonna have a glass of wine-do it the first 2 weeksxx
