    Hi Suzie,

Sorry for the brief previous post - am at work and was interrupted before I could post properly.

Just wanted to echo other people's sentiments on here hun in that you should not feel guilty re feeling down re your Angel, its only natural.  A friend of mine lost a little boy at 20 wks and has since had a litle girl and boy in the past couple of years - and she says she has worried re telling me about each pg.  But I was just so over the moon for her each time especially after what she had been through previously.  We still talk about Luca and she still has down days re him , he was her 1st child and always will be.  Just as your Angel will always be yours and will always be remembered. Its only natural hun.

Take care, thinking of you lots and sending big ((((HUGS))))

    Hi Everyone,

Thank-you so much for your posts and they are really appreciated. We are so happy and appreciate this 2nd chance we have, however I'm just feeling so down but feel guilty for doing so. I hope I don't offend anyone by this as I am so grateful to get a 2nd BFP and know when I have had my 12week scan I will feel differently, but it is my due date tomorrow and am so sad.

I still cannot get the images of my baby on the scan monitor out of my head, he/she was moving and sucking it's thumb. There didn't seem anything wrong, he/she looked just how a baby should???? and tomorrow I would be holding him/her in my arms after 5years of waiting. I know I have another chance now and am truly so happy, however it doesn't take the pain away.

I'm sorry for this depressing post and hope it doesn't sound like I don't appreciate my recent fabulous news, I just can't forget my angel that should be with me tomorrow. X

    Hi Suzie,

OMG!!!!! Congratulations!!!! I've been checking for your thread since Fri and was starting to worry when you hadn't posted!

I can't believe all three of us having double bumps - that is so amazing! There really is something going on on this forum at the moment!! And given we were all going to be close for due dates it's nice we'll all be that bit earlier together!

I don't know if my two sacs were identical sizes - they look it on the picture tho. As I had my scan so early they were too small to register on the hospital's software for dating so they weren't measured - it was enough they were there!!

I wouldn't worry too much about size though - they grow so fast in the early weeks that there's bound to be some variation and you'll probably find the smaller one has overtaken the other by your next scan! But you know they are both there for now, so to both that they keep hanging in there!!

Lol re the pressies! But I know what you mean - am worried anything and everything will be a jinx!

Take care and once again and stacks of for your beans - and an extra for the little one!

    Jxx

OMG what brilliant news for you hun!   I am so pleased for you and dh, you really deserve this.  Re being on a roll for twins - as far as I am concerned until my scan on 26th Will & Grace are both still in there hanging on!

Bless re pressies and I know what you mean re jinxing things, I am tempted to buy something but want to wait a little longer.

I am sure your smaller twin will catch up by the next scan - sending you lots of &

    Thanks SarahKate and Slimchick,

Not sure why I get a 2nd one at 8weeks, but know that's the norm at my clinic as my friend has just had her 8week one (2nd)?? Think they'll sign me off then, but then my consultant has said that via my GP they'll try and get me a 10week one with a Specialist due to my last pregnancy?

I am on Cloud 99999999 never mind 9!!! lol Everyone keeps telling me that "every cloud has a silver lining" and I truly hope that these 2 healthy beans are it.

It's my due date on Wednesday and so am getting quite upset about that (hormones probably aren't helping) but I keep thinking of my 2 flutters and things seem so much brighter.

    to you both. XXX

Oh wow - how fantastic. Congratulations We really are on a good roll on here at the moment aren't we. We need to give ourselves a big pat on the pack lol. You'll have your head down the toilet like me very soon

One of mine is measuring 2 days smaller than the other - I was 8wks (going off larger one) at the time of the scan. I'll keep everything crossed for you that all is well at your next scan. How come you get another one at 8wks anyway? My clinic have more or less signed me off - just got to continue with pessaries and call them back at 12 weeks. It's amazing how all clinics work differently.

    Hi everone,

Just an update as had my first scan on Friday. Was sooo nervous as my last scan when looking at my baby had disastrous consequences and when dh wasn't able to come with me I was a wreck. Was so controlled all the way there and then after changing into my robe and the Nurse started to ask how I was, I started blubbering!!! she must have thought I was a right one, but luckily she knew what had happened last time and so was very nice.

Anyway, scanning started and he confirmed the heartbeat (phew, sooooo relieved) and that everything looked fine for being 6weeks and then started to check my oaveries due to my OHSS and advised me that they're still quite active and large but ok.....and THEN he spotted it, a second flutter!!!!! OMFG I could have cried and hugged him!!!

He did say though that the 2nd sac was slightly smaller, but possibly only a day or so behind, but he just had to warm me that sometimes they always don't develop if smaller, but thought it should be ok. But for the time being I have 2 flutters and nothing (until my next scan in 2weeks) can stop that. I am so convinced that this time is going to have a happy outcome, just can't wait until my 12week scan is over.

So there it is, a twin hatrick for the week!!! This forum is a bit spooky!!!! Orbette you best watch out, they seem to be a common theme on here!!!

Me and dh can't stop smiling and I'm dying to tell everyone, but at least am going to wait for my 8week scan to check that they're both still beating away. Went shopping with my mum and sister yesterday and they both bought a gorgeous winne the poo teady bear from the Disney store, for each blob....their 1st gift!!!! I've banned them from my house tho (don't want any jinx) so just hope that they both arrive to receive them.

Jeli & Slimchick - do you know if your sacs were identical sizes???

So just want to wish everyone on here so much luck and PMA, as it can happen, despite all the odds. Sending everyone lots of and x millions.

    Suzie X

Thanks for the congrats Jo and also to you and Orbette for your kind words. The clinic seem to be really good, and since realising I have OHSS have rang me every day to check how I am feeling, which is very reassuring. They really do seem to care rather than you just feeling like a number and they are always ensuring that I am taking my folic after what happened last time so hopefully fingers & toes crossed (AGAIN!!) the OHSS & blood clotting will ease up soon and then I can focus on receiving wonderful news at my 12week scan in time for Xmas. They say that I may be scanned at 10weeks aswell to see if they can put my mind at rest, which would be good.

I know I'm jumping the gun a little as not had my first scan to check for a heartbeat yet!!! but I am continuing with my PMA, otherwise what's the point?

Good luck  and to everyone still ttc and lots of to us very lucky ladies.

    I'm so happy !!!

    Hi Suzie,

Soz to hear that there is something else not going quite to plan, but as Jo says, sounds like your hospital are keeping a close eye on you and hopefully in a week or so everything will sort itselt out.  Its a harder fight for you hun, but will make holding your lo in your arms even more precious....if thats possible.

    Sending you loads of sticky

Hey Congratulations that is aweseom news .

Sorry to hear you have been feeling unwell with OHSS but it sounds as though your hospital are taking very good care of you. I have just stopped taking my aspirin but was on slightly less. It is great they have picked up the clotting in your blood though as they can now manage it from early on so you will have no problems. It sounds as though you have been through the mill but hang in there it will be so worth it at the end.

    Congratulations once again

    Jo x
