i have to say, i spent this afternoon looking after my sisters 6 week old baby while she got her hair cut, soph is now 14 weeks...... with looking after the 2 of them i didnt even have time to pee

OMFG!
I couldn't sleep too well last night with needing to wee and not being able to settle. We set off at 9 as our scan was at 10.15. OMG, was I nervous. We went in and there were 2 nurses scanning (one was learning to scan), so on I popped and away she went with the dildo cam. It seemed to take for ever before she showed us the screen, but then she turned it round for us to see the flickering heartbeat. What relief, I was soooooooo pleased. She carried on having a look about and measuring bubs and said all looked well. The other lady then asked me did I have a bicornuate uterus (heart shaped) - so I said yes. Then she decided to have a scan and OMG, she found another heartbeat - we're having TWINS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They have each settled in either horn (which she had never seen in 10years she'd been scanning - normally they implant near to each other). Of course I then had to cry!
One is measuring 8wks the other 7+5. Not sure why I've waited so much longer for my scan than most of the ladies, but it was worth the wait I can tell you. I think I'm still in shock.
