Lol re wanting to start getting pg symptoms. I'm completely with you and am strangely enjoying feeling sick - weirdo!! But it's only natural that after so long we're going to savour every minute of it - it would feel too ungrateful to complain!!

I cant believe how many twins are around at the mo - hopefully I will follow in that too. Although as far as I am concerned at the mo Will & Grace are both still hanging in there.
Still no sickness - kinda wanting it to kick in to help the news sink in a bit.
I met a friend at lunchtime today and told her our news - she burst into tears and set me off too!!! I was completely taken aback but very touched too. Also there is a little shop in town which has started knitting classes for beginners - how sad am I cos I am quite excited and looking forward to being able to pop along and hopefully be able to start knitting booties etc soon
Slimchick - shame you had to wait an extra 2 weeks for your scan - bet you cant stop looking at your photo now tho!

Jo - yay what a positive thread it was. Between that and the IVF Girls thread, which is on a roll too my PMA was pretty high!
Jelli-B - yep still up there on cloud 9 - I keep telling dh every now and again that I'm pregnant - just to say it!!!!
So only 10 more sleeps til scan day! Back at work tomorrow (not looking forward to that) but at least time will go quicker again!

Re the pessaries, I am on 4 a day, so seems everywhere does it differently. I think you've done well not to have to take them!
So excited for your scan too - that's really not a long wait at all. Can't wait to hear how many little beans you have snuggled up!

It's such a wonderful feeling isn't it!! Although I'm still struggling to get too excited, think after last time, my pregnancy will only really start after my 12week scan and the baby has been checked as much as possible. I know I am very lucky to be this far, but something is stopping me from getting carried away, think it's my way of protecting myself as am still quite distraught from last time.
Anyway, I am also on 2 pesseries a day. I was only prescribed 1 at first but then I queried it as had 2 before and so they said I could take 2 if it made me feel better? My friend at the same clinic was prescribed 4 a day???? There are so many differences, but I'm sure they all know what they are doing?
You make the most of dh looking after you, it soon wears off !!! lol

Hi hun, it takes a while for it to sink in doesn't it. I feel rubbish all day and still sometimes forget that I'm pregnant lol.
Re pessaries, I'm taking 2 a day until 12 weeks, then I'll be weaned off them. Not sure why so have not got them, but like you say all clinics work differently and 'normal' people don't take them.
I'm still jealous that everyone seems to get early scans and I had to wait til 8wks. Oh well, I have my piccies now to treasure.

I know some people have mentioned pessaries - I have not been given any - just wondered how unusual this was? Its very confusing that every clinic does things so differently - makes you worried, but then I guess on a naturally conceived pg you would not take them.....sorry woffling now.

Thank you all for your messages - we have told family and a few close friends and I am overwhelmed with the lovely comments from everybody. I still can't really believe it and have to keep checking my tests and reminding myself that af is not here so it must be real!!!
2 friends have already offered me maternity clothes (do I look that fat already - LOL) and one ofthem is posting me a book re - what happens during pregnancy to save me buying one - bless her.
Jell-B and Ling - I really appreciate your comments as I know neither of you is having an easy time at the mo big ((((HUGS)))) to you both.
Slimchick - brilliant news re you scan hun. Pains have eased off now so hoping it was as you said.
Luci-Lu - Lol re no-one being left on here - in an ideal world eh!
Tina - yesterday dh kept helping me up from my chair, opening doors and asking if I was ok - me thinks he was being a little ott and sarky - LOL! I am sure he will be pulling his weight and do anything I ask when the time comes.
Kacey - how brilliant to hear from you. How spooky that you choose yesterday to come back to Bounty for a look!!! Lovely to hear that you and Will are both well. I have emailed and pm'd you - as you have found by now I expect.
MrsC - Yay, hatrick!! I spoke to the hospital today I have got a 6 week scan on Weds 26th at 11.30 - cant wait, will help it all sink in a little more then. Ta re dh's job - he has phoned and said that all is going well which is a relief. I hope that you are feeling ok and that your little baby bump is growing well.
Thank you to all of you again. I will keep you up to date but also dont want to be posting too much as I know some of you are still on your journey to your bfp and dont want to seem insensitive. I will stick around for a while and keep up to date with your journeys tho - I am a little 'scared' to venture to the other boards just yet.

the nurse told me you count back 2 wks from your transfer and that would be when you count from, some net site can tell you a rough date

You must be absolutely over the moon! 3 and a half years you've waited and now you're just 8 and a half months away to holding your much deserved baby (or babies should I say!) in your arms!
I'm so happy for you, I think it's your positivity which has payed off, so I'm gonna try and be as positive as you fro now on. With all the BFP's on here lately it's hard not to be now! There will be noone left on here soon!

Well sun tis shining and its too nice to be at work!
Thank you for your wishes. One of the ladies was off work when I came back until today so been quite busy. However, looking on the bright side this week has whizzed by and now only 6 sleeps til scan day! Am feeling very tired by the time late afternoon comes around and go home to loaf on the sofa for most of the evening! Still no sickness so maybe I will escape that.
Off to visit my folks this weekend - looking foward to seeing everyone and getting some cuddles from my bro's little girl. Its her 1st b/day on Sat so having a little party. I cant believe she is 1 already!!!
Anyway, hope you are all doing well and have good weekends.
