justy thanks for the feedback on this i did ask my gp about metaformin but she said if i'm on clomid its up to my fertility doctor to decide! i'd like to increase my chances as much as possible but we'll see what happens next wednesday.
i was only diagnosed with pcos 2 months ago so still getting used to it and the little niggling pains it brings xxxxxx

Eva4hopeful - I have PCOS and was on clomid. I was also taking metformin. Are you taking this too? I think you may have an appointment soon, ask about it, I was always told the combination of both drugs was good. HTH.
I conceived my DD on metformin alone as it gave me a regular cycle. Didn't work this time though hence the addition of clomid.

well cd4 for me. i'm definitely preferring to take clomid at night i have no symptoms during the day must suffer while sleeping lol!!!
i'm not exactly stressing just upset and feeling rejected that we weren't offered follicle tracking like so many others. only a week till our follow up appointment.
sorry to hear your af showed up miss sunflower i really am hope next month is your month. glad i've got hubby's support at the moment as there's not many other people aside from you who suffers from pcos and uses clomid xxxxx

Well all my positive thinking was for nothing. AF has arrived 3 days early. I am gutted. How am I ever supposed to be able to get the timing right.
So back to cd1 for me and my last month of clomid.

with myself i can't really say that as were still trying for our 1st so EVERYONE knows that were trying and can't say we've stopped lmao
miss sunflower good luck honey hope this is your month i truly do especially after you've touched that idol in blackpool.
we may have more months of clomid not sure till we see fertility consultants next week i just hope we get some help as i'm gonna kick off for not getting follicle tracking and just given the tablets and left on my own.

im defo jumping on hubby tonight as im all sensitive if you get what i mean ?? feeling wet too soz for the tmi but being off clomid has made me soo runny lol cd 11 for me so perfect timing plus i have had the ov ache so fingers crossed my body does it on its own this month and we actually fall !!
i have not long got in from a course and someone asked if i would have anymore children i had to say i dont want anymore to avoid awkward questions does anyone else do this ??

Sorry to hear the witch got you 4evahopeful. Lets keep our fingers crossed for the clomid to work this month. I am on cd28 and my af is due on Sat. If it arrives then I am on to my last dose of clomid. Fingers crossed, I want to test but I hate finding out that it is negative so not sure whether to wait!!

Hi girls
well looks like af has properly started to show up this morning the first day due to this clomid always seems a bit sluggish. i'll take my clomid tonight to lessen the side effects as Sas suggests.
Justy glad your feeling more reassured that your pg now. you've had some bfp's and your af still isn't here so your allowed to believe that you are.
feeling so fed up with ttc. i'm ok on my reflexology but she wants me to relax and stop being down and stressed as its messing with my fertility. when i go to the fertility consultants on 12th nov i'm going to question why they haven't sent me for follicle tracking as i feel i could've benefited from it.

Hello everyone, I've so go my fingers crossed for you all this month. We had a stressful october with DH job and other things so I really think that our mind was not on it, I know they say it helps not to think about it but how hard is that!
A bit of an update from me, still no AF so I think I must be pregnant. Had a weekend away with DH which was worrying, every niggle of pain in the stomach area had me panicking and rushing to the loo to check. My b**bs are a little bit more sensitve now which is reassuring.
Its going to be a long few weeks until we have a scan. We are going to pay for an early scan at just over 7 weeks. We had a m/c before we had our DD and I know it will help put my mind at rest (well for a few weeks anyway).
I am still amazed that Clomid worked for me as I felt so negative about it (was on it a number of years ago and it didn't work then). I will keep popping back in and seeing if I can help anyone. Hope you don't mind that.

Hello ladies
CD12 today and got a +ive on a cheapy internet opk but a -ive on the digi, assuming the cheapy is more sensitive than the digi and will get a +ive on that tomorrow. Doc reckoned on thursday that i'd be ovulating within 48hrs but i guess he is a bit out!!! He did say its possible for the follicles to get as big as 30mm before popping so i guess thats me!!!!

Glad to know I'm as normal as most on Clomid.
My Mum is very anti it because of the side effects but I'd rather have a hot flush and regular af then wait 40 or so days for it to arrive! At least I don't need the central heating on which is a major bonus in this credit crunch!
I will definately ask for the follicle tracking at the review with my consultant- seems pointless otherwise.....as long as i don't have a bfp before then (am keeping fingers and toes crossed!!)

cd31 for me today my 1st clomid was cd26 but not sure i ov'd this month due to stress levels. i'm not fussed as we speak just want either af or bfp!!!
not going to test till sometime next week. more looking forward to my reflexology this afternoon.
nice that i'm working this weekend
i just feel so angry as we speak i could cry at the drop of a hat!!!have a great weekend xxx

hun what yoru feeling is perfectly normal x im very suprised they havent monitered you on yoru first month with folical tracking and blood tests to confirm that its working and its the correct dosage for you
as for weightgain etc thats normal also the hot flushes too x so nothing out of the normal as far as i can tell xx i would take the clomid at night though so you can miss out on the side effects a bit more xx

Hi Girls,
I was just wondering if I could join your club!
I am on CD24 of my second cycle of 50mg of Clomid. I am feeling so so depressed today
. The only thing that clomid has done for me is regulate my AF (which is a good thing) but I was so positive that things would happen this month and now I feel they have not.I had a mmc at the end of May at 12+5 weeks so I know what symptoms I should be feeling by now and all I feel is so tired.
Does anyone else every wonder...why them?
I have the most wonderful DH who is so understanding but I am so desperate to have a baby. I've done everything from Acupuncture to dieting, does anyone have any advice for me.
I am under a fertility consultant and due for a 3 month review in December, I have not yet had any scans to see is my eggs are even there and growing....should I be??
How does everyone stay so positive, I'm having hot flushes, getting fat and feel depressed, Is it really worth it??

im poorly again
im about but not posting as i just have nothing to say !! im in a funny frame of mine where i just want to be all on my own , think im just really getting used to the fact that the clomid isnt going to work and we will only ever have our funny lil girl ! its horrible and i wish i could just finish our family off but i think i have just given up and want my very long and irregulay periods again as im fed up with them turning up every 4 weeks !! and knowing the week before the witch turns up !! anyone else feel the same or is it just me as soo many people have been and gone on here and im the only one left from january !!
