    Hello ladies

I'd like to introduce myself, I'm Sian and we've been ttc for 2 years with a mc 18mths ago. I have a dd who is 5 with my ex husband. We've had all the tests and everything has come back as normal. I am  on CD2 and will take my first Clomid pill later today and then have a scan next tuesday CD8 to see how things are going.

We've been told that if after 6mths we still aren't pg then we have to decide whether to go further. Due to me having dd though we won't be legible for NHS treatment.

I've got mixed thoughts about starting Clomid, part of me can't believe that i have to take it!!!! Whats wrong with my body???!!!! Also i get terribly moody around ovulation and i'm expecting this to make it even worse, so i've warned dp.

If any of you ladies have had any side effects or have any tips about Clomid then please share!!!

    Thanks Sian xxx

well cd21 for me today i think. no symptoms to think of really had a few cramp feelings although not painful or anything but i can feel it. i've been emotional but that could be job related and just weighed myself and lost a few pounds which i'm happy about but then that could be because i've not been eating properly got off work stress. i also feel weird and disjointed from everything!!!

here's hoping for some of us this month xxxxx

    Hi all

Well as you all know my doppy consultant took me off clo, but i got a letter this morning to say my bloods were good, so from next cycle i have to increase to 100 mg. So i dead happy. I'm glad i've got this month off. Were moving house and i just felt i needed to jump off the band wagon for a bit.

Theres been a lot of talk about months we want our lo born. When i was trying for my first i really wanted a baby to be born between sept and dec, i got december! But it took 2 1/2 years of ttc! Now i really don't care. If i got pg in next couple of months, i'd get july/aug baby which would be good because i'd get summer off work and i have a friend due then, so kids would be in same school year. But if sept comes round i'll still be happy. I think my target is a baby before xmas 2009, although i could do without 2 xmas kids!

I feel loads more positive now. Looking forward to my month off- still bd, but no pressure; moving house and then getting going again. New house-new baby!

Hello everyone, so much seems to have happened over the past few days since I logged on.

It is such an up and down emotion all the time, sorry for those it has not worked for yet and fingers crossed for those who are in the 2ww.

In terms of planning the month to have a baby, my first was due at the end of Aug and was late so is a 2nd Sept baby - I worried my whole pregnancy that she would miss the school year as I really wanted an August baby - my advice is, what will be will be and I would never put off trying for that reason and its all about encouragement you give children - there is no right time to be born.

How many people montior their temperature.  Mine has gone up at the weekend which hopefully indicates that I ovulated last week (did have a positive opk (well just about anyway)).  On average, how high does your temperature go after ovulation?

Will find out by the end of Oct anyway one way or another, although, we are due to go away for the weekend, so could either be very upset for our weekend away or not drinking (hope its the latter).

This is my first month on clomid, have had some stomach pains over the weekend - are these common?

    Catch up soon

    Justy

    evening ladies

sas (hugs) its not nice having a wisdom tooth removed i had to have a wisdom tooth removed a few years ago due to it causing loads of pain and infections - so worth it though not suffered with my teeth since

4evahopeful i got my fingers crossed for monday for you - do you think you will test early or wait

    vkitten how are you

having gone through a child going to full time school a week after she turned 4 and she is due to go to high school next september so really on my mind - we have decided to not use the clomid for the next 2 months so we can get to september

going to stick around though as i only have short cycles so only about 6 weeks before i start taking them again

fingers crossed for you sas here's hoping. glad you've got rid if that wisdom tooth that was causing you trouble.

i'm due on next monday based on a cd26 cycle like last month. still getting cramps in abdomen but they've eased off now. no other symptoms though but then i don't really count them anyway i've been at this too long for it to matter.

good luck to the rest of you ladies on here xxxxxx

amanda xx i love to see yoru still popping in to check on us xx

miss sunflower hunny i would give iui a go first but....... in the majority of people the first go doesnt work its more of a test to get to know your body under the new treatment so done get your hopes to high its more likely to work the second or third go xx

always start at the bottom and work up with treatments x

    hi girls

Sas as always your an angel thanks for your advice sounds like fun building her a post box to play with aren't you a helpful mummy. sorry to hear your feeling bloated honey xxxxx

vkitten i myself am planning a july/aug baby as i'm a july baby so i was always one of the youngest in my year but it never bothered me. i can understand the fear of a baby with a disability but you'll love it just the same.

misssunflower i say give IUI a shot IVF as a friend tells me is a really aggressive treatment and will take alot out of you so its better as the very last shot. good luck honey.

i'm doing ok today feel a bit more positive today talked to a higher manager who is in today and discussed my fears about my job and he's been really reassuring and helpful so gonna try and relax about my job if i can and concentrate on other stuff. ttc here we go again xxxxx hope this is my month i'd love a baby in july same birthday month as me and hubby (don't worry i'm not holding my hopes out lol!!)

have a great weekend girls i myself am working this weekend today and tomorrow 6 hours each time lol xxxxx

Can I ask a question, when I have finished my doses of clomid  my next options are IUI and IVF. Do you think it is worth trying an IUI first?

    thanks

hun our lo was born the 27th aug and i know she will not be like me as im also a august baby but i was never encouraged to get ahead , so with our lo i have encouraged her to learn at her own pace when shes ready and by doing this i have got a her a little bit aheadso when she goes to nursery next sept she will fit right in

i would go for it hun it really doesnt matter when they are born so long as they are loved and cherrished xx

    dont know what to do

if i fall pg in the next  2 months a baby would be born july or august making the baby going to full time school just turned 4 - i have a major problem with this as my dd was born 29th august and she has special needs.  I always said i would never have another child born this time of year due to there age when starting school as i could not do this to another child and especially because i am at a higher risk of having another child with a disability

my problem is i am desperate for another baby so dont want to stop ttc but i still feel that i dont want a child born july or august

WHAT DO I DO - I am due to start next month of clomid tommorrow
