    hi all

i dont know if it has been mentioned,my babies name is Tiana Ella May.

thanks for all your comments.i have been desperate to get on here but i added a hospital experience to the hb experience. Well i had to monitor Tiana's blood sugar levels after birth. normally they do this in the hospital but they gave me an A4 sheet to follow instructions.  Trouble is mw dont do this so got no assistance then Tiana's blood sugar levels dropped and we took her to hospital on last Thursday. We did have 2 lovely days at home. So hospital was 3 hourly feeds and 1  hours sleep per day. Then as this got better they noticed her cord was poss infected so they did a blood test and gave antibiotics. So we have stayed here and can go tomorrow if results are clear. They tested my blood and my hb was 10.3 so am taking iron tabs.

    well thats me.

I am trying and failing to use the hospital intenet keypad here. hopefully i can post more when i get home.

    take care.

    congratulations to all arrivals xxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hi girls i'm from DIJ and am Kims "bump buddy". Received a message from her this morning to say that she had to take her little girl to hospital last night as her sugar levels were low. Baby appears to be ok and hopefully she will be home tomorrow. xx

Huge congratulations and welcome to the world little baby!

Your experience is almost identical to my first HB 6 years ago and my dp still loves to remember his midwifery duties!

Please try and rest as much as you can as shock can set in after a BBA.

Always lovely to hear of happy homebirths

    Hi,

Congratulations and well done. What a lovely, inspiring birth story and one to be rightly proud of. You and DH sounded like you stayed so calm and let the natural processes do their work. A big hurrah!
