    you gain a sore arse from sitting there for hours on end hun thats all lol

    tell them to stick it and check your bloods yourself my friend had gd when carrying her twins she was on insulin for a good 6 months after having them but even she didnt have a gtt after they were born just checked with finger p***s.

    totally pointless hun! if they are testing you for diabetes they can just do the finger p*** test or a fasting blood test, they only do the gtt for gest diabetes!

    unless you have any symptoms of diabetes then maybe have the test but otherwise i would completely ignore them!

    Hi all,

    What do you know about this.

    As you know this GTT caused me much grief about my hb. Now they want to do it again at six weeks after birth.  Why what do i gain from it.  taxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
